Debunking the claims about 40,000 sealed indictments">
This seems pretty well researched and explained, which is where my skepticism comes from.
The fact that the process being used ensure the number will only go up and up (like total of all home runs hit in the Major League at the end of each month) means I can't get real excited that "the number has gone up".
it IS an unusually large amount historically but I’m reserving judgement until the SHTF.
Tell us the real reason, Jack.

But Jack Bot, you don’t get excited about anything. That’s kind of central to the whole buzzkill schtick you do. I always read your posts in an Eeyore voice. It works well.
Its all for naught.
If you are paid, ok, shitty but ok. If you are here to save us from Q, thanks but no. Make my own decisions.
The person who wrote that thinks that speeding tickets are handled in federal district courts. Sorry. Was the author economic degree Occassional-Cortex?
And here's my problem with that debunking.
"So whats the problem? First, those search results showing up on PACER arent just indictments, theyre court proceedings. That certainly includes indictments, but it also includes search warrants, records of petty offenses (like speeding tickets), wiretap and pen register applications, etc.
A FEDERAL DISTRICT COURT does not handle such minor things as "speeding tickets." In fact, FEDERAL COURTS don't handle many "petty offenses" at all, especially not with SEALED INDICTMENTS. . . which shows the lack of knowledge the author of this "debunking" has about what he is talking about.
