Evidently that paranoia about making a false positive error is incredibly powerful. It makes normally hyper logical folks irrational while being convinced they are ever more perfectly and rigidly logical. Boggles my mind. The fear making a false positive error so much, they (scientifically) make it virtually certain they will be bitten in the butt frequently by a false negative error. And I have yet to read hereon IIRC, anyone very astute, knowledgeable about that issue.
Eeyore, so true! I was leaning towards Norm the obnoxious I think I know everything from Cheers but yours is far more fitting.
