As I recall, long ago if a college student bought a BB shirt and could not pay for it right away, BB extended credit.

If the student did not repay the loan, BB sent them a letter saying ‘not to worry, please pay us when you can’ - meaning after graduation.

BB was ALWAYS repaid and the company made a fine new customer for life.
