Just before he recently departed ABC Studios to embark on a rich overall deal at Netflix, Black-ish creator Kenya Barris sold one last high-profile project to ABC: Bewitched, a single camera, interracial blended family comedy based on the popular 1960s sitcom of the same name. It took a little while for all the deals to close, but the network has given a pilot production commitment to the new take on the classic supernatural sitcom, from Barris and Black-ish writer/producer Yamara Taylor. The project hails from ABC Studios; Sony Pictures TV, which has the rights to the title; and Sony-based Davis Entertainment (The Blacklist).

In the Charmed reboot, one sister is caucasian, one is hispanic and one is black. Mom is caucasian.
Look for an interracial reboot of The Brady Bunch soon.
Maybe they will make Uncle Arthur gay? Ditto Dr. Bombay.
Yes ... Dick Sargent was a faggot, and he played the character as faggot. It's one of several reasons I found the original show repugnant.
It will fail.

Hard. Gonna crash and burn. I’ll enjoy the show of the show as it burns.
“Look for an interracial reboot of The Brady Bunch soon.”
That would actually work.
Mike and the boys would be white and from the suburbs.
Carol and the girls would be black and from the big city.
Alice would be out of the closet, perhaps even transgendered.
The original Darren was my favorite. Uptight like Barney Fife. Larry Tate was the ultimate kiss ass. Made me laugh too.
Aunt Clara left her bag of stolen crystal door knobs someplace, but she can’t remember where!
Dr. Bombay, need help, right away!
I mean maybe with the exception of the soon-to-be-departed “The Big Bang Theory” (which I’ve never watched, myself), does anyone still watch any shows on the alphabet networks?
Lost in space is one of the few reboots that I actually think they did a good job. I was scared that when they chose to make one of the daughters black it would be really bad but there was a good explanation for the girl being black the oldest daughter was from a previous marriage the best part was it is not a major part of the story and is only occasionally referd to in the series because it is not a major plot point in the series.
I can’t watch this fake stuff on TV anymore. It isn’t entertainment. It’s lessons from The Masters about political and social correctness.
This reboot is serious, not a joke?
Next, they’ll be rebooting Mister Ed and Wilbur.
Maybe a “My Friend, Flacka”.
Whoopsie flapping her gums doesn’t count as a nose twitch...
All they are doing is rehashing old shows because they can’t come up with actual new material anymore..what next, are they going to make Tabitha transgender too
I liked it and am looking forward to season 2. The new doctor Smith is an evil witch and the robot is pretty darn cool with a definite dark side to it.............
Definitely more intense than the original...........
Whut?
Whoopi is the evil, conniving Endora.
Definitely.
Samuel L Jackson, just for MF-er factor.
[I might actually watch that]
