In a world without "police", the members of the community would assign "civilians" as police or people would assign themselves.
I have an ant theory if you wanna hear it.
Watch videos of ants and you will see there are some bigger badass ants patrolling the lines of worker ants carrying bits of leaves and whatnot.
If one of the ants gets out of line, the "police ants" cut them in half as a lesson to the others.
Yea. That's my police theory. "Police" are vital to any civilized society, whether they are "official" or self assigned.

Nobody has said "all" SES people are evil.
Before Hussein left office, he appointed dozens of his inner-circle commie and musloid anti-American scumbags to SES rank -- specifically to keep them in critical positions during the Trump presidency.
There were articles posted on FR about this back in late 2016.

I have known three SES, and they are great people. All of you are doing great work on these threads, but when the broad brush comes out, it seems like an attribute (SES) gets them painted as someone nefarious.
It’s like saying all Exec VPs in every company are part of a cabal.
It is not the fact that people may be congressionally appointed to an SES role; it is what they do that is the problem - and it doesnt mean the SES attribute makes someone bad automatically.
Are all FBI agents bad, or do the visibly bad ones make it seem that way? Same thing.

Cards on the table here: quite frankly, I was deeply ashamed of myself for the way I lashed out at poor grey_whiskers and others here last week.
I apologized to the thread, and to many in private - and I resolved to not let that happen again. Not only was that completely out of bounds, these petty arguments distract from the purpose of this thread. We should be united here in this incredible time in US and world history. I truly believe that Q is giving us a window into something which I hope will be of Biblical significance.
Last night, all I did was respond to an exchange between Tex and Doll regarding the "SES" theory (the rank above GS-15 for Federal civilians). It's an innocuous side discussion. Reader's Digest version: not all SES rank are bad, but many are, and many are Deep State. That's it! Q.E.D.
Very quickly, I found myself in the position of having to get into another argument on the thread.
I just don't want to be "that guy." Does that make any sense?
Appreciate the encouragement from you and others, and I will soldier on. If I feel that things are just too hot here, or I am a detriment in some way, I'll take a self imposed vacation or leave the threads. There are so many posters here that I have corresponded with for years, and that I highly respect.

Think of the sentiment as "presumption," rather than conclusive.
Is everybody in the press a liar? Rather than argue the conclusion, which takes evidence and reason, we can presume they are all liars, and put the burden on them to prove otherwise.
