The father received rabies shots.
Hydrophobia—fear of water. Seems cruel for a beaver to get rabies.

Gee Ward, you were kinda hard on the Beaver last night.
Jimmy Dhimmi Carter is outclassed again.

Local news sources (Useless-Hay Today group, can’t post) state that the beaver tested positive for rabies.

Seriously though, I am getting wary of the increase in coyote sightings in my area.

I see a series of rabid beaver sci-fi
movies on the horizon.
So far it’s been;
Rats, birds, snakes, giant rabbits,
roaches, crocodiles, piranhas, sharks,
and bats.

I read about a woman who was hiking near the trail head and a raccoon attacked her. She ended up having to drown it in a puddle; it would not let go. Tested positive for rabies too. Good grief.

It takes more than a pole to beat off a rabid beaver.

If I am in a kayak or canoe or any other watercraft, I believe I could repel any beaver, anytime, even a rabid one. I also think I would not have to engage the beaver hand to claw, paw, foot, teeth (whatever beaver use to attack). It says right hear, I would win that battle, even if the beaver is rabid.
