PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia — A Malaysian-led independent investigation report released Monday, more than four years after Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared, highlighted shortcomings in the government’s response and raised the possibility of “intervention by a third party.”
The report, prepared by a 19-member international team, reiterated Malaysia’s assertion the plane was deliberately diverted and flown for over seven hours after severing communications.
Chief investigator Kok Soo Chon said the cause of the disappearance cannot be determined until the wreckage and the plane’s black boxes are found. He said there was no evidence of abnormal behavior or stress in the two pilots that could lead them to hijack the plane but all passengers were also cleared by police and had no pilot training.
“We are not of the opinion that it could be an event committed by the pilot,” Kok told a media briefing.

Because, at the time, with obama in office, the reports and “smart people” were adamanat that there was in no way a possibility that terrorism was involved because there was no evidence of such. The plane just dropped off the radar, changed course and stopped responding to air traffic controllers and... just disappeared.
Absolutely not terrorism... until now.

I have said the same thing... there were witnesses on some of the islands talking about a plane on fire at low altitude... I think it was hijacked and they turned back toward the towers in Kuala Lumpur and were shot down... then memory holed
Yep. Something about the way it was handled makes the Malaysian government (and probably others) look very bad - perhaps the idea that your flight will be shot down by a local air force if it ever gets hijacked. If the plane was disabled and depressurized but not destroyed, it could have made that theorized 4,000 mile flight into the South Indian Ocean on autopilot.

Debris (30 pieces) with proper serial #'s that Boeing has confirmed to be from MH370 Airframe. They washed up on Islands off the Eastern Coast of Africa and Eastern African Coast. One part was from a seatback that surrounded the TV Screen. The first piece of debris found was a Flaperon and from scrape marks inside it reveals it was in the Retracted Position. MH370 hit the Indian Ocean after running out of fuel and breaking up on impact.
