Thank you Billy, that was the simple answer I was trying to understand and wondered why the comments suggested otherwise.
I’ve been meaning to post to you to say how very much I enjoy your comments, they are always uplifting and filled with promise.

The thread was summarizing Q posts regarding the missile launch. There was one poster questioning how fighter jets could possibly intercept a missile. I wrote that Q responded that the jets launched airborne missiles with a special weapons classification.
I thought an airborne missile interceptor is entirely reasonable, no less than ground-launched patriot missiles. This to me was right in a USAF focus of weapons development, so I tended not to doubt that such capability exists. In fact, I found news about just such a system:

It’s a mystery to me why the earlier was pulled other than possibly a poster or two persuaded the admin mod that intercepting missiles using fighter jets is not possible.

Was not in Granite City, IL. Sorry. I am a victim of Ill-Annoy, but not that City. Funny how a former community organizer in Chicago worked with steel mills, which soon found their demise. A real leader is working with the steel mills and people regained their jobs. So who was the better of the two “organizers”?

Mike McKibben graduated in civil engineering from The Ohio State University in 1973 where he was also a trombonist and squad leader in Ohio State’s famed marching band.
I was also a member of the “famed marching band” of Ohio State, though my freshman year was 1976 so I missed Michael by a few years. I was also a squad leader for two years - though an assistant squad leader. Each squad represents a row in the 16 x 12 block band. Interestingly, there are two rows in the OSUMB with trombones, F-Row (which my son was in from 2005 to 2009) AND Q-ROW!!!! How about that?
I actually met Michael McKibben four years ago after the morning’s rehearsal for our annual Alumni Band show. Struck up a conversation with him for more than an hour and he told me much of the story related in this thread. I especially enjoyed the parts about his missions into the eastern block and the Soviet Union with his music group. I hope to see him again in September for this year’s event, which is the 50th anniversary of the first OSU Alumni Band in 1968 and will feature 100 year old Anthony Viola who still marches with the youngsters. I’m in this picture somewhere!

WOW! It’s a small world, isn’t it? So you had eyes on in f2f with McKibben. You have been able to assess his character. Please, if you get to see him, tell him that there are those who wish for the truth to come out regarding the REAL inventor(s) of Face Book.
I know there are other similar claims, which others on this thread have pointed to. But he, McKibben, should at the VERY LEAST get acknowledgement for his specific contributions, if not remuneration because his lawyer screwed up his opportunity, perhaps beyond all recovery. Please wish him well from me.
