Freepers are the best and know everything!
I need some prescription meds that my insurance co. will not pay for. My doctor suggested getting from Mexico or Canada!
I searched and found too many Canada Pharmacies on the net, great prices. But I don't know whether to trust any of them. I hate to risk $100+ to find out. Would appreciate any tips if you have ordered RX from Canada.
I did for about 5 years when the medicine I needed was $150 a month here in the US...It was $50 a month from Canada...No problems whatsoever....
When patent expired, I could get it for $21 here in the states...
My wife used one or two mail-order Canadian pharmacies. Saved money and there were no problems. You might want to make sure you know where the drugs being sold were actually made. I wouldn’t worry about drugs made in Canada, India I might take a pass on.
I suspect at least the Canadians have higher standards. I would certainly look for customer reviews online.
What are these companies?
northwestpharmacy
I buy meds every 6 months - .60 per pill vs $6.00
A little slow with delivery
I used “Quality Prescription Drugs” (in Vancouver I think). Very professional , great quality, easy to deal with. I used them for 11 years until my drugs became generic in the USA. I would use them again in a skinny minute.
No worries about “trusting” the Canadian firms.
The real danger is getting caught violating U.S. Customs regulations.
Tread carefully, FRiend.
I got mine through CanadaPharmacy.com
I’ve used PriceProPharmacy.com - they are very reliable. However, if you need a refill be sure to order at least 3 weeks before you run out of your current supplies.
Thank you so much, Ken!
Thank you so much, smoking frog.
It infuriates me that I have to use Canadian websites to order drugs. America is so very sunk; I hope our president can correct this as he is trying but they keep tying the poor man in knots.
The one whose name I have at hand is Canamericaglobal.com. My wife said she was very pleased with their service. Not sure but I think we had to fax the prescriptions to them, but that may have changed.
Last winter also bought from a drug store in Los Algodones Mexico, Phoenix Pharmacy. They have 3 branches and are highly recommended and very popular with the retired community wintering in Arizona. They also sell online. Excellent prices and good quality drugs.
Walrus,
are you implying that receiving an order in US from Canada, may be illegal?
One has to always ask where their prescription is manufactured. I’ve notified my pharmacy that I do not want anything made in China. Generics from China FYI, just the tip of the iceberg.
“...The Valsartan recall has opened Pandoras box. There are questions about Chinese manufacturing of generic drugs. Then there is the whole issue of FDA oversight of foreign generic drug manufacturing. What are the implications for U.S. patients?..”
Thanks to everyone for your input!
