As many of you know, my post Men Prefer Debt-Free Virgins Without Tattoos went viral and is causing quite a stir. I should have definitely titled it Godly Men Prefer Debt-Free Virgins Without Tattoos. I want to make clear that the audience I teach are those young women who want to learn biblical womanhood as according to Gods instructions in Titus 2:3-5. They love the Lord and His beautiful ways.

I hate tats. Men or women!
I said to myself, man, this is over the top then I sent it to my 17 year old daughter.
Whenever I see a beautiful woman with tats, I immediately conclude that she is a SKANK!
Ditto!
Lots of young folks have tattoos. Fashions change.
I’m an old fart, and when I see women with tattoos I feel like they look “used.”
But that’s just me. I don’t think it means that these days.
I don’t know that you’d need to qualify it with “Godly”; I wasn’t particularly Godly when I was single, but was sort of instinctively repulsed by women with “history” and “baggage” and definitely with tattoos. Debt . . . yeah that too, my wife (who was a virgin and has no tattoos) did graduate debt-free from Stanford (scholarship), and I might’ve talked her out of taking out 150K to go to grad/prof school.
i’d rather have the woman that God provided for me.
As for the article, i’m sure that if Mary Magdalene had access to them she’d find it amusing.
God is in the business of making new creations out of fallen people.
When I was young, the only people with tattoos were military, bikers, and carnies (carnival workers). I guess if I was young now, I would probably have a hard time finding someone who fit the bill like my wife did. I agree with the article title. But that’s just me.
It looks like she removed the original post. This isnt what she originally posted.
Call me sexist. Men with tattoos, okay. Women, yuck! I never approved of tattoos until the most wonderful man in the world asked me to be his wife (he has 5 of them, but in a suit you would never know).
Show me a woman with a lot of tattoos and i’ll guarantee she’s been plowed more than an Iowa corn field.
Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord. Leviticus: 19:28
We can agree on that...
Actually, it was more like Carnival side show freaks - unless it was discrete and tasteful like a butterfly or something like that strategically located where it did not show too much.
First time I remember seeing young people with heavy tattoos was when the band The Stray Cats hit the scene
Three guys got into a car crash and all died. They all get up to heaven and meet St. Peter at the gates. St. Peter said “Okay everyone can come in, but whatever you do don’t step on a duck.” The gates open and there are ducks everywhere, all over the floor, on tabletops, everywhere. The first guy walks in and accidentally steps on a duck. St. Peter comes along and handcuffs him to the ugliest woman in all the world and says, “Now you must stay handcuffed for all eternity.” The other two see this and do their best not avoid the ducks. The second guy goes months and months without stepping on any duck. Then one morning he wakes up and as he is getting out of bed he steps on two ducks. St. Peter comes over and handcuffs him to the most atrocious looking and smelling woman and says, “Now you must stay handcuffed to each other for all eternity.” Now the third guy goes years and years and doesn’t step on any ducks in all that time. Then one day St. Peter comes along and handcuffs him to the most beautiful woman he as ever seen. St. Peter says, “Now you must stay handcuffed to each other for all eternity.” The guy happily says, “Oh my God, what have I done to deserve this?!” And the woman says, “I don’t know what you did, but I stepped on a duck.”
So i guess because i have tattoos and am a tattoo artist and i'm married with 4 kids and in debt mildly i'm not a Godly man
That's wonderful !
Good to know !
I’m just glad that the African lip-plate thing has not caught on here. Yet.
“There is a phenomenon today where some women actually work to make themselves unattractive.”
True - that’s actually been the case for quite some time. The rationale behind it is that that variety of feminism is bent on making sure a man receives no pleasure whatsoever, including seeing an attractive woman.
They feel so strongly they will gladly hurt themselves to accomplish that goal.
They’ve become oddly popular with people in my generation (Gen X). I don’t get it.
Here’s a prediction though. The tatted people in their 40s are about to get old and wrinkly and saggy. That sight is going to cause the popularity of tattoos to drop through the floor. They’ll be associated with old geezers, and no young person is going to get them. :)
Woody: Back in Iowa we had a saying about that.
Sam: Yea, what's that?
Woody: Let's date 'em.
Same here.
