Remote-access software and modems on election equipment 'is the worst decision for security short of leaving ballot boxes on a Moscow street corner.'

What years?
They should be banned from consideration on future machines.
More likely a Cook county sreet corner.
In a letter sent to Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) in April and obtained recently by Motherboard, Election Systems and Software acknowledged that it had “provided pcAnywhere remote connection software to a small number of customers between 2000 and 2006,”
I own a software company. There should be no pure electronic voting. Ever.
Electronic voting that prints out your vote on paper that you put in a locked box that can be hand counted later in the event of a dispute.
Fine.
“...that it had “provided pcAnywhere remote connection software to a small number of customers between 2000 and 2006,” which was installed on the election-management system ES&S sold them.”
That is how jug ears won twice.
An IT guy explained it to mas as this - It isn’t unusual, to not install it would be unusual. It allows companies to port in and help a client fix any software issues within the machine. But they just can’t port in anytime they want, the client needs to give them authorized permission on their side of the machine to gain access. Every single time. It’s very controlled.
In fairness to Obama, McCain threw the election to him and even endorsed him. When it looked like he had a chance thanks to enthusiasm for Palin, he had his staff sabotage her. No fraud required, at least at the ballot box.
Electronic voting should be prohibited by law. It is too easy to systematically cheat and the ways to cheat are too numerous to list and limited only by one’s creativity.
ES&S is the top voting machine maker in the country, a position it held in the years 2000-2006 when it was installing pcAnywhere on its systems. The company’s machines were used statewide in a number of states, and at least 60 percent of ballots cast in the US in 2006 were tabulated on ES&S election-management systems.
They should be modified immediately or never be used.
AND I STILL LOST??!
A. 1898, 1914, 1923, 1927, 1958 and 1965.
Yes, what you said.
Is anybody going to talk about this interference in an election?
Trackable paper ballots only.
Aren't most of the voting machines from a company owned by soros?
If they are, they should be discontinued.
