This is a good lesson for other restaurant owners & all businesses that cater to the general public. You can decide whom you want to serve & whomever you do not want to serve, however, be prepared for the consequences.
It wasn’t the Conservative movement that started the harassment & the never ending faux outrage.
It was not the Conservatives that attempts to keep Chik-fil-a out of a local market simply because the founder holds legitimate beliefs about marriage held throughout the entirety of history.
It is not the Conservatives that attack and threaten members of the opposite political party when they are at dinner or simply in public.
It is not Conservatives picketing & harassing members of the opposite party at their homes and posting were their children go to school, threatening them with kidnapping & rape on social media.
It is not the Conservatives who have mentally challenged leaders of their party like Auntie Maxine telling her equally simpleminded followers to harass and threaten Cabinet Members in public.
That would be the Leftist Democrat children who are always the source of public violence as they are immature snowflakes.
The owner was foolish! She should have told her staff that they would serve these people and treat them respect they deserve or they would be looking for another job. She turned away a dozen patrons kind enough to traffic her establishment. She missed out on several hundred dollars of revenue and her snowflake staff missed out on at least a $50 tip.
Now they are all suffering, for what? To show how righteous they are because they disrespected someone working for Trump.

Apparently, they have been getting a lot of fake reservations that disrupted their business. From their Yelp reservations page, I would guess that they are now open (Tuesdays through Saturdays, 5-9 pm), but it would be nice to get the truth from someone local.
Note: There are a lot of recent “reviews” on their Yelp page, but it is not obvious whether the reviewers ate there recently or at all.

Besides, there are things more important than civility, like mass shootings and children torn from the arms of mothers seeking asylum. Sometimes you have to raise your voice to be heard, especially if you’re a restaurant server, not a White House spokesperson. Where do you draw the line?
So it's okay to be less than civil to Mrs. Sanders. When a gloating post about how she was shown the door at the White Hen goes viral, she is not allowed to give her side of the story. Mrs. Sanders didn't start this fight, nor has she added fuel to the fire.

The author of the piece is very one sided trying to write like an even tempered observer...he left out at least 2 salient sentences....he writes that the staff had their right to protest Sanders actions...he should have written “and so do the Christian baker who doesnt want to bake cake for gay wedding.” He writes that one can vigorously disagree with someone..but dont make it personal...he should have added “did you hear that Maxine Waters?”

I know a bit about restaurants, and I simply watch politics.
The outrage and notoriety caused the place to shut down. After that, within one week, the workers and chef will be gone, because most live hand-to-mouth and a few have to support their cocaine habits. Any hard-working, responsible Maitre D or waiter will be known in the local industry and can easily find work within hours.
I zapped him in the comments section about his stupid statement.
