Two weeks after Sarah Sanders' visit, the Red Hen remains closed, its phone reservations number blocked

I hope they do go out of business. These little turds didn’t just refuse to sever the Sanders party. They went to another restaurant where family members ( not Sara and husband) went to eat.
Sound like the owners are busy living large off of all that “GoFundMe” money.
They must have a cabal of local lefty professors that get around the system, but will that sustain them. Any general folks planning to come to town will not accept those terms. Imagine calling from out of town and being ask for your credit card number... I mean, what if you end up delayed in your travel. Demanding to charge you for a cancellation after 72 hours advance notice is insane.
The author said: “But people dont have to run anyone out of business because they dont like their politics.”
Actually, they do. The left does it with alacrity. The right not so much.
LOL!
I wonder if those charges, if not used, can be charged back? If so, the vendor is also charged a fee. Maybe I am wrong and they can charge that much simply for the opportunity to reserve a seat.
They reopened on Thursday, July 5 and are still open as far as
I know. Remember they are a small restaurant open only 5 days
a week from 5-9:30 pm and seats only 26 patrons max.
They are a $50 a head restaurant in a small town, which may be left leaning, but the county sure isnt. Making 50% is of the population feel they arent welcome is not a good business model.
Seemed like a hobby restaurant all along that probably is no longer any fun. They likely decided to take an extended vacay, hoping it’ll all blow over, at best.
haha...true!
Any traveling person who thinks would never eat there.
Just ask Hillary.
Anyone know what its’ menu is? Fried Catfish, Collard Greens and Black-eyed peas I am guessing are not on the menu.
I suspect, though, he is maybe trying to fool people into backing off. Consider his final comment to stop making this personal. Ain't happening. Wilkinson, her partner cook, and employees, and later her supporting landlord all made it personal. It is very personal. She went even further to challenge a neighboring restaurant to also not serve the family. That makes it even more personal and vindictive.
Wilkinson and all of them can now deal with the consequences of their actions. I wrote dozens of email to fellow business partners at Lexington Main Street (posted those email addresses here on FR), I also wrote her advertised suppliers (which another FR person kindly found). Got a few emails back. She got fired from Lexington Main Street, several suppliers disavowed her, she closed for a week or so. Great if it is or has turned out to be longer.
Does anyone have independent verification that she has since remained open or closed again? If open, would love that we remind her we have't forgotten so quickly.
So, we could all tie up their future reservations so long as we cancel and document our cancellation at least 72 hours before the reservation time. That is a bit more involved protesting but would really screw them up to have their placed booked out for the next several months, then see every one of those reservations canceled as they approach.
And she gets charged a service fee for each canceled reservation. So make one for next month, cancel it the week before. Heck, even tomorrow or next week.
They probably have access to the Democrat voter lists in order to screen applicants for dinner. Wouldn’t it be a hoot if a MS-13 gang was admitted to the Red (in the face) Hen?
MUHUHAHAHAAAHAAAAA.
