To me it is clear Awan will not be charged for any IT crime committed in DC.

All of the angst makes ine winder if POTUS has freed Putin of DS adversaries and this meeting is quid pro quo? I am sure there will be the standard international concerns to talk about, but would not be surprised if a Putin aide hands a package to a POTUS aide for later perusal.
Here’s praying for the green light for Sessions, the US Marshall’s, and the Marines to act in concert on POTUS flight home! Would love to see midnite raids on the morrow with a sunrise press conference and use of the Emergency Broadcast System to play POTUS “Draining the Swamp” speech!

I also wonder how they got here but also how they got such a plum job with reportedly little experience. Why so many Dens used them and protected them? Why are the Dens SO invested in supporting and protecting Stojk? Self protection in my opinion. Hoping evidence comes all the way out. Only the brain addled will still believe Dems. What this says is, he admitted to various crimes which were presented to him and his attorney. They all agreed that those stipulated in the agreement are off the table for prosecution.
Now they didn't have to tell him all the crimes they knew he committed and they are still on the table.
Not a lawyer but here goes.
The investigation was very narrowly focused on financial matters. Awan probably brought up the IT stuff and they rebuffed him and told him stay on subject or the deal would fail. He did so,
So, he is protected from any prosecution of matters which he revealed to the investigators. He is not immune for prosecution of anything that does not involve his financial dealings.
They gave him a deal that meant nothing. It was the only deal he could have gotten. He is going to be on the hot seat when the IT portion comes around and is going to jail for a long time.
One question that has occurred to me is if he communicated across state lines over his server network, does that constitute interstate crime? I sort of suspect it does and he is going to feel the burn when it comes down him.
