Jeanine Pepler, the publicist who represented novelists Jay McInerney and Candace Bushnell, hanged herself Sunday night in her home in Sag Harbor, LI, taking her life the same way Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain did earlier this month. Sources say she was 50.

Belt and scarf bans!
It might explain why Hollywood types are so angry... Bourdain doesn't really fit with the dregs... it's just odd that someone with that much to live for - and a person who rejected corrupt elites - would take his own life out of sadness. He seems better than that...
Yeppers.
I doubt this was a copycat suicide. Murder is always a possibility. But if it was a suicide I would want to know what prescription drugs this person was using. All the ads for pills that show melancholy but happy people say that suicidal ideations are a side-effect and call your doctor if you get them. And rich liberals have no God but money and the other celebrities are their cult so loneliness and depression are bound to occur. Happiness drugs are a logical choice when God is not an option because peer pressure. I also wonder if she has ever had an abortion but that is just curiosity on my part. That is one aspect of depression that doesnt get much press.
The knowledge that a victim of a violent mugging or homicide was a lunatic leftist takes the sting out of the news for me. Remember Corrina Mehiel, the social justice activist bound and stabbed to death by a black man in her DC apartment? I smiled as I read all about it, especially because she came from a long line of activists and died before procreating.
“Can’t wait for the pill or invention.”
We are essentially addicts to the drugs our own bodies manufacture. Sex releases dopamine. Dopamine rewards certain behavior, or at least the desire and motivation for certain behaviors. But people often, in unhealthy ways, seek to skip the positive behavior to go straight for the prize, which is the chemical high. But this always has a downside.
Being a dopamine or adrenaline junkie leads to addictive behavior, depression, anxiety, feelings of guilt and shame, and even does damage to the body. This addictive behavior throws other important hormones out of balance. Serotonin becomes depleted, and this is a very important hormone for our overall health.
There is a lot more to life than just pleasure-seeking. Happiness comes primarily through relationships with other people. Sex hormones are meant to encourage reproduction and bonding with one’s spouse and, indirectly, offspring so that permanent, lifelong bonds are formed. Pleasure-seeking often destroys the very thing that is meant to make us happy.
Sexual desire is actually suppressed by oxytocin, the “love drug” because this hormone serves to encourage other forms of bonding, such as the non-sexual parts of a marital relationship, and also the loving relationship between parents and their children.
I was wondering the same thing myself and I was told that they tie the cloth off on one side of the door and throw the cloth over the top of the door and then hang themselves on the other side.
tie the rope to the doorknob, throw it over the door and noose it on the other side.
tie the rope to the doorknob, throw it over the door and noose it on the other side.
tie the rope to the doorknob, throw it over the door and noose it on the other side.
Not really, woman and men hang almost equally.
Do you think these are not suicides?
I’m open to that possibility.
This is weird. Why all these cases of hanging?
