Not at all unusual. Bobcats are EVERYWHERE in Arizona.

I’d be more concerned about meeting up with whatever chased it up there than I would about the bobcat.

My dad used to carry a golf club when he rode his bike.

A bike can be used as a shield when encountering dogs and such. You do have to get off of it though.

It’s not as unusual as people think. Bobcat’s can climb up and down the saguaro cactus when other animals like Mountain Lion’s can’t.

Walt Disney did a series of documentary nature films back in the 50’s.

One, called The a Living Desert, had exactly this. A bobcat climbing up the huge saguaro cactus.

I always remember it from when I was a kid.
