After Star Wars author Chuck Wendig called Star Wars fans white supremacists and The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson referred to them as manbabies, Star Wars author Paul Kemp believes certain Star Wars fans are detestable.
Kemp has written a number of Star Wars novels including Lords of the Sith, Star Wars: The Old Republic Deceived, Crosscurrent, Riptide, and more.
Over the weekend, Kemp decided to attack certain Star Wars fans calling them detestable human being[s] if they use the terms forced diversity, SJW, or politically correct, or whatnot.
Paul S. Kemp ✔ @Paulskemp 11 Jun Since I follow mostly political/policy/journalism folks, I'm late to the various fandom controversies. Caught wind of the latest in Star Wars fandom.
Let me share some brief comments.
Paul S. Kemp ✔ @Paulskemp There are probably some followers of this feed who use the term "forced diversity," "SJW," or "politically correct," or whatnot.
If you're one of them, unfollow me. I don't merely disagree with you; I find you contemptible, a detestable human being with whom

That’s awesome - I’m stealing that. :-)
By the way, that’s how you do a “strong woman character.” Well written, strong purpose to the story line. She was a good character that was a woman, not merely a “woman character.”
HA HA HA HA! I love his little “Look at me and how seriously I take myself” car selfie! Yeah, no narcissism there at all!
So, in the original Star Wars, Luke uses the Force to thread the needle and destroy the mighty Death Star with a proton torpedo. Rebellion saved. Some of the group made it back. And he had some timely help from an every-man in Solo.
Forty years later, that sort of reluctant hero is somehow “toxic” and wrong. Now, goofballs like Paul Kemp and the other hijackers think that it’s heroic to sacrifice yourself by crashing your ship into another using your hyperspace drive.
To those idiots: if that’s how it’s done, what was to stop the Empire from using its vast resources to program the hyperspace-jumps of empty hulks through Rebel ships packed with rebels? Or for the Rebellion to program an empty X-Wing or Y-Wing to jump through the exhaust port of the Death Star, packed with proton torpedoes for good measure? It’s that sort of story-destroying stupidity that puts The Last Jedi low on my list of Star Wars films. All the other fun-killing, 2017 SJW moralizing that went with it was the stale bread around the excrement-filled sandwich.
Nothing like insulting your fanbase while demanding-and expecting-their money! Sorta like calling people ‘deplorable’and expecting their votes! So now I’m a ‘Deplorable Detestable’ and NOTHING Disney ever does will be MY Star Wars.
;-)
Steal away! We Rebel Scum have to stick together!
LOL! WoW! That should be added to the Ultimate Flame! BRAVO!
My gaydar is screaming “chickenhawk”.
Crap like this is why the “Sad Puppies” and related movements were started.
If I cared I would ask if he has any “Freinds of color.”
So he is an intolerant bigot and he wants everyone to know ? Okay. Fine.
I’m not a Star Wars fan so FUPK. Rest assured the people you consider detestable find you doubly so.
He has a face that screams “fag.” The over-the-top hysterical queenie response proves it.
Folks like that will tell you they have many such friends. Like the barrista down at the local Starbucks who knows him by name (but only because she knows what he always orders). Or the dear Spanish-speaking friend who maintains his lawn. Neighborhood friends? Yes, there’s the cute multi-cultural couple born in two different countriesCanada and Spain. He is fluent in French, I’ll bet. He used it on his “last” trip to Haiti where he had a marvelous time with a colorful local group at a shindig on the beachat the hotel.
Insulting your customers. Liberalism is a mental illness.
If I were Disney I’d censure these clowns immediately. To insult your customers on deeply personal and harsh terms is unacceptable. If Disney doesn’t then they deserve to watch their billion dollar franchise circle the drain, which it will. The obsessive fans are what kept this thing alive and making money when there were no films for 20 years and telling them to piss of now is just plain stupid.
I’m an old school Star Wars fan. Yes, I am “detestable” to left leaning weenies like Paul Kemp.
From what I have read, Mark Hamill, when filming the last jedi, complained that the movie should give the fans what they want, and the director stated “No, we give them what WE want!”.
That is what is wrong with the franchise, and is epitomized by this shrill word slinger griping about those who fund his lifestyle.
