The closeup makes it pretty clear that it’s a missile. The question becomes who fired it and why. Purposeful test? Accident? Black hat of this or another country? Clearly not a white hat intended action. “This is not a game. Certain events were not suppose[d] to take place.”

Hmmm wondering... that missing “D”.... the Ohio class at one time carried Trident II “D”5 missles....could be a very dark humor if that is the missing “D”... but I could see it being said in a combat information center ... once the issue was resolved.
