The standards must be lowered in the name of diversification otherwise it's RACIST! Yep...
To: GrandJediMasterYoda
You know, I always wanted to be a brain surgeon but the testing standards and study requirements are too hard. Obviously this is racist.
To: GrandJediMasterYoda
Eggz-actly. Heck, the fact that “elite” schools exist is racis’ on it’s own merit.

What does he not understand about the word “elite”?
Oh, I know, it’s like the air traffic controllers.

I want to see Schumer weigh in on this since his daughter went to one of NYC’s elite high schools, in act, the elitest of them all!! (Maybe diBlasio’s kid wasn’t admitted).

In an op-ed for education-news site Chalkbeat, de Blasio announced that 20 percent of seats at those eight schools would be reserved for low-income applicants. Why not the bottom 20% of those that passed? Better yet, how about applying all that energy to improving the public schools?

The results of that are that the elite schools stop being elite after a few years. I saw that in my Adventures in Substituting.

Will they still call them “elite” when the crud demolish them, bring horrible violence to the schools, and hound all the teachers into quitting? What will they debase after that happens?
Will four years of college be enough “remedial” education to get them up to a high school graduate level?
All this crap for a small fraction of the population.
To: GrandJediMasterYoda; All
Please notice that this is NOT the teachers lowering the standards. It has NEVER been the teachers.

In short, he eants to end elite high schools in the NYC public schools.
To: GrandJediMasterYoda; All
Oh, I get it!
Instead of doing the HARD WORK of improving the CR@PPY PUBLIK SKROOLS in NYC, May-yor De Blasio would rather bring the Top-Notch Schools down to the Publik Skrool level!
Makes total sense - if you’re a dumb@ss Commie. *SPIT*

Of course, when he gets old and sick and needs life saving surgery, he has no intention going to one of the affirmative action surgeons these schools will be pumping out. Only truly elite surgeons will do for the elite such as him.
