I believe that the left is OK with conservatives who only care about pocketbook issues. They're like the Tories in England: they can be depended on to fold toward socialism every time a crying baby is put on the telly.
There are lots of so-called conservatives, especially libertarian and some Tea Party types, who really only care about jobs and taxes. If they care about issues like immigration its because they believe that illegal immigrants have a bad impact on jobs and taxes.
So Roseanne was someone that the left could ultimately embrace. Why she tweeted was she did was beyond comprehension. A couple more years of pushing the tranny agenda and she would have become one of their patron saints.
She wasn’t referring to VJ’s color, I believe, but the strange hairdo she had for awhile (Planet of the Apes look, where the hair is strangely swept back from the face and then puffs out). Michelle Obama had a similar hairstyle for awhile, and it looked even worse on her.

I have been thinking hard about this — examining from every angle I can think of.
Bottom line: this was as ill-advised. Any and every white person knows comparing blacks to apes is verboten and, yes, racist.
Rosanne will pay some for her mistake but the cast and supporting members of her show moreso.
