Why don’t they just quit and start their own league? They are rich ao they don’t need the owners.
To: C19fan
Here’s an idea. Since we stay home, perhaps they can now just stay home.

Millions agree with you, and have come to realize that watching obscenely overpaid guys running around a football field is a total waste of time.

I tuned out three seasons ago. Hubby joined me a year later. And when they lost a fan like him...

At 55 years old and male, I’ve probably only seen 10 complete football games. I can easily stop at that number.

Those players need to take a look around. There is a $5 BILLION stadium being built in LA. Someone is going to pay for that. If a contingent of players continue to disrupt the ‘income’ of the NFL teams, that contingent may find themselves in the unemployment line.
Team owners are in it for the $$$$ and not for satisfying a bunch of dissatisfied snowflake players.
Eventually, the owners will have to face that: capitulating to players or making money.

It will be years before I watch another game.
Heck, I even missed the Superbowl this year.

One can only hope for a players strike.
The NFL is not football. The sport will survive, hopefully, in another league.

Anyone who looks upon their place of employment as a venue for staging a protest completely unrelated to their work has no business being employed under any circumstances.

Doesn't matter, the nfl literally HATES America and its own, (now former) fan base!
The nfl is dead! The liberal, leftist commissioner, the owners and players strangled it to death with their own hands!

Afraid so, disgracefully happened last season. I didn't see it because our entire family hasn't watched a single nfl game or anything related to the nfl for over two years. That said, this despicable display was widely reported.
Read your our tagline, truer than ever.

I read an excellent idea the other day. Assess a 15 yard penalty on the teams first play for every kneeler. 7 kneelers act out? Thats a 15 yard penalty on every first down 7 consecutive times. If the NFL actually did that, then I would start watching again this season. Just for the hilarity that would ensue.

I don’t suppose going into crime ridden police districts offering to help ease strained relationships in the communities ever occurred to them?

As far as I know, no protesting player has lost a dime as a result of their actions. It hasn’t cost them anything to insult defenders of America, some of who lost everything. They are the lowest of the low.
