John Brennan just recently tweeted"Any man can make mistakes, but only an idiot persists in his error.
Marcus Tullius Cicero, (106-43 BC)"
Marcus tullius Cicero was declared an enemy of the Roman Empire and was then executed. Is John Brennan making veiled threats?
(Figuratively of course.) As in life aboard a prison ship or at Guantanamo (for traitors)
How do the Clintons play into that rule?
I understand. But remember, the country was lost 35 years ago. We just didn’t realize it. It is now being re-conquered. We are in the best position in a long time, but are fighting a really cunning foe.
> Brennan should be arrested tonight.
In my dreams, perhaps.
However, this level of hysteria from him is certainly an implicit admission of a whole lot of guilt.
Time to be water boarded. Step up to the plate. Pop goes the weasel. Repeat.
Also, he has to know some pretty bad people.
Our POTUS needs our prayers!
Without doubt this guy is one dangerous Obama swamp creature.
Immediate house arrest is in order--although some kind of cage is highly recommended.
Sounds like a ‘chide’ more than a ‘threat’.

Prison? Why provide food, shelter, and clothing to an enemy of America?
Half of the Republican Party is stupid. The other half is gutless.
That’s an assassination threat? That’s reaching to say the least. He’s probably just saying that Trump is making “obvious” errors. In other words, he went off the reservation by not being a bought-and-paid-for politician like the rest of them. He’s too rich to be bribed or intimidated with lawsuits, which drives the establishment nuts.
I don’t believe Bill Clinton ever quoted Marcus Aurelius. What happened to Cicero was not like an execution and more similar to what comedians do nowadays with a decapitated head but without the other mutilations and the subsequent display of body parts as happened with Cicero.
In prison awaiting his execution for treason, perhaps?

His quote was very correct. He did not admit his error. I know Cicero from the books of history that are not taught today.
Brennan is not Cicero. He is the enemy within the gates that Cicero warned us of.
Hes trying to create an incident. Hes probably committed sedition and a physical threat against the President. He wants to become the issue. He needs to be quietly removed from any ability to inflame the situation any further.
So far, his BS has encouraged those who were digging into what's been going on to dig in new places. If he keeps getting too much news coverage instead of keeping his head down he's the one who's going to be getting not so subtle warnings.

I am sure POTUS knows some really bad people too— Trump understands people, the dark heart of people.
My take is, Brennan is ‘unmasking’ Mitch the Senate and lying Ryan... Neither have the power to cover for Brennan. Makes my heart jump for joy that lying Ryan has been neutered, time will tell where Mitch the Senate’s heart lies.
i do NOT see how that could be a threat...sorry .. but no.
i say this as someone who once thought Brennan looked very good... but has since been very disappointed in him. I am not trying to protect Mr. Brennan, I just don’t see this one as a real threat is all.. imho he can be dismissed from the public square for the awful statements has HAS made in recent times, but not this tweet.
