I find Rudy’s absence from the scene very interesting. I would not be surprised if he was working on this - he’s very connected to the NYPD, and VERY eager to see Hillary brought to justice.
The President may know more than we do.
If the NYPD Detectives that work in TARU and SVU, saw what was on that laptop, you can bet your family that they have a copy of it. The President’s former head of security was NYPD. The President is kind of a cult-like(hate to use that term, but can’t think of another one) in NYC. If NYPD made and has that copy(copies) then the President knows about it, or possibly has all the info.
If he does, then he’s probably laughing at all of this, knowing that he’s holding all the cards.
The overlooked power of the media is the power to ignore stories they dislike.
The article stated that Obama/Lynch's DOJ was prepared to use the Eric Garner case against key members of the NYPD. Try to imagine what Fed.gov charging you with "civil rights violations" would be like. First, you are bankrupted by legal fees. Also, no more salary, no pension. Then they call out their pliant media to hound you and smear you. Every leftist politician seeking a platform attacks you and your colleagues. Then, they call #BLM, one of Obama's DOJ creations, to go to your house and threaten your family.
I'm pretty sure you will comply also.
Maybe not, but DeBlasio sure could have, thru an order to the Commissioner. Who would dutifully obey to keep that check coming in. But, I’d be willing to bet that as soon as the mayor made that call, the cops on his detail called someone and, if the copies weren’t already made, they were made, asap.
What does the, Thin Blue Line, have to do with this?
Those cops will protect each other, but they aren’t going out on a limb for the FBI or DOJ.

Maybe Rudi can do something but the DOJ sure as hell won’t. Perhaps on state crimes.
NYPD has zero love and little respect for the Feebs and less of both for their boss DeBlasio. If they do not have copies of Weiner’s hard drive it’s because the DoJ did in fact threaten them to force handover. The Blue Line likely does not wish to see brothers sent to Federal Prison Atlanta a s rigging a trial in Garner’s death would have been a no brainer for Bharaha and Lynch.

If we dug thru the archives we’d find discussions about the laptop and NYPD on FR and how some of us were sure this would drop a house on Hillary, but it never did. Now we know why.
