This thread is a friendly collaborative place for FReepers to analyze information and share opinons. FReepers have a wide variety of reasons for investigating Q Anon content; this is not the appropriate place to criticize or badger those who choose to use some of their time in this manner.

I plan to post one thread at a time and ping new drops posted to it. When I post each (new) thread, the prior thread is retired and all new posts occur on the newest thread.

It was bad enough when Valentino, Arbuckle and Laemmle Jr. were in their heyday, so no doubt the evil has been refined considerably. We have some distant relatives whose kids were easy prey for the LA/Hollywood period you referenced; their parents lamented ever leaving the midwest for SoCal.

My sister had a good friend who left Podunk and ended up running with a group of socialites in NYC, becoming extremely chummy with the scion of a certain family who is well known for patronage of the arts. A cute, very shapely blond gal fresh from a small midwestern town was apparently considered a valuable acquisition in these circles. Lots of free trips, free booze and free drugs - best of everything - were provided and it was indeed life in the fast lane. After hooking up with an older guy who was thought to be involved with supplying the "refined" illicit appetites of Gotham's carriage trade, she ended up being shot and killed under mysterious circumstances.
