When someone here has a name like Morgana, metmom, or MNdude, it is easy to guess the gender.
However, I have to admit I probably do not know the gender of over half of you now when I think about it, even though I read posts from you for many years.
If you have a gender-neutral name like reformedliberal, could you let us know which gender you really are? This way I will never accidentally call you ma'am if you are male!

Most of those things on your list do not correspond to any biological reality whatsoever.
While there are a handful of conditions that lead to someone with the XY chromosomes failing to develop as a male, those are rare and affect (IIRC) less than 1 in 10,000 live births. I suppose it is possible for a chimera (a person who is the result of two embryos fusing) to have both male and female characteristics.
Most of those things on your list do not fall into that category. Either they are mentally ill, or trying to be trendy and avant-garde.

I’ve always been assumed “dude”, “guy”, “he/his/him” on FR when no text indicates otherwise. My husband can attest this is most definitely not the case.
Just goes to prove unless it seems flowery or frou-frou, people always assume male.
