Attorney General Jeff Sessions may have declined calls to appoint a second special counsel to investigate the FBI’s behavior during the 2016 campaign, but the man he has picked to lead an internal Justice Department review is a special counsel in every way but name.
John W. Huber, the U.S. attorney in Utah, can convene a grand jury, issue subpoenas, collect evidence and order witnesses to testify — all the usual powers a federal prosecutor has — as he delves into whether the FBI abused its powers when it sought permission and then carried out wiretapping of a Trump campaign figure, or whether it trod too lightly in pursuing questions about Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Mr. Sessions said the facts of the FBI situation don’t yet rise to the level of demanding a special counsel, but Mr. Huber is as close as can be.
“He will have the full authority of a federal prosecutor,” said Richard Painter, former chief ethics attorney for President George W. Bush. “If he looks at this and finds someone in the DOJ lied to a government official, he would be able to convene a grand jury, compel testimony and even prosecute them.”

They have been assigned to make the following possible recommendations:
2.) Add resources to current investigations
3.) Refer any matters to a Special Counsel.
Add to that, Huber answers to the AG, and his boss DAG Rosenstein, who is one of the people who will be the subject of the investigation.
Those are the facts.
We will have the best chance for success if we keep it real, and not fantasize.

DOJ investigative team already has all the evidence.
That’s the reason why Sessions could have indicated the existence of Huber and his team of prosecutors a few days ago.
Imagine, no-one knew of Huber and team up to a couple of weeks back.
So some of you guy would rather have a special counsel convened a grand jury and have trials in D.C. to indict and convict Obama administrations people? Ha!!!
Look at all of the leaking from both sides of aisle and from Mueller office but not a peep from people knowing about what Huber were doing. That’s the way it supposed to be instead of leaking evidence where somebody can create a script

Huber is an Obama appointee, is far from Washington, and is a close confident of Rosenstein. These are disqualifying factors from which Huber cannot recover even one indictment against anyone who is complicit within the magic negro’s criminal liberal fascist syndicate.
Its time to fire Mueller, Rosenstein and Sessions. Its way past time to clean house and take out the trash.

No - both SC and Huber are operating in the arena of federal criminal prosecution in civilian court system.
Entirely different set of criteria to remove to military court jurisdiction, and those criteria play the same way without regard to whether an SC or USA represents the government in a criminal action.
