A family is suing a Michigan school district after a group of kindergarteners allegedly sodomized their child and recorded the assault on an iPad.
The federal lawsuit, filed this week against the Grandville School District, claims that nearly four years ago, the district failed to intervene when five-year-old Jimmy Doe of Century Park Learning Center in Wyoming, Michigan was taken to the mudroom and was forcibly touched, sodomized, and photographed by classmates.
The lawsuit specifically names the victim's kindergarten teacher Hillary Hubert, former Grandville School district superintendent Ron Caniff, current superintendent Roger Bearup, assistant superintendent Scott Merkel, and the schools Principal Tonia Shoup as having failed to protect the boy or hold his alleged tormenters accountable.

>> “This raises strong suspicions that these children have been exposed to gross, debasing pornography and probably were themselves violated by older children or by adults.” <<
Reasonable conclusion, since we were not born with this kind of “knowledge.”

Ancient History!

I,personally,am reluctant to classify any 6 year old as "dangerous".Yes,kids that age can do dangerous things and yes, these kids very probably need to be watched closely.
I'd bet everything I own that there's a reason for this that points to one or more adults....either abuse or having somehow seen a sick movie.
yep
My thought exactly. And what were kindergarteners doing with cell phones with cameras?
Naw, it was done to them. I’d bet a dollar.
We’re aware that it’s not an American culture in some areas around the edges of our country and in some of the less arable scenic areas. Here’s a map that illustrates the point (President’s highest percentage of the vote in red counties).
You have no idea what spme kids are exposed to in everyday life. Don’t believe me? Ask some police officers.
Never Ever Ever put your kids in public schools.
You mentioned that your experience was in an inner city school.
Most public schools are NOT like that.
Wrong...public schools are catching up far faster than you can imagine.
So what exactly was the teacher doing while this went on?
“Could it have been at home with Mom and Dad watching adult TV?”
Sadly, these days it could have been kids at home watching free network TV. Some of the subject matter on over-the-air stations nowadays would put 1980’s HBO to shame.
Six year-olds can be extremely dangerous. Children who are abused can exhibit psychopathic behaviors even at that age. I worked with a child who was around that age. I had a large fish tankfish tanks generally calm people. Anyway, as I was a few feet away from Jimmy, he reached into the tank and retrieved a small crab, held it up for a second, dropped it and crushed it under his foot. Looking at me with the eyes of a dead fish, he announced, completely without affect, the crab is dead. By the time he was a teen, he progressed from torturing and killing animals to sexual predation. Not one of his numerous therapists or doctors would diagnose him as a psychopath because he was too young.
Youll probably hear his real name on TV after he is caught for horrific crimes, but we truly have no systemic answer on how to deal with such children. This problem is much more widespread than most people know. The stories only hit the press for a few days and are usurped by the next Stormy Daniels. Abnormal psychology is so aberrant that most people cannot imagine it, much less understand. That desire to understand is in itself a large part of the problem. We dont need to understand these people; we need to recognize them and take protective action.
Barbarian cultures are often criticized for their excessive punishments, but many could teach us a few things about protecting society. Our system not only allows these behaviors, it enables the perpetrators to progress to larger crimes. The question isnt whether youd incarcerate or kill a young Dahmer; its why not?
It’s a city in Los Angeles that is very much NOT inner city but they were busing kids from one area to another, and those kids were Trouble.
They may have learned it from their parent(s).
Hell, I was still playing with Barbie’s when I was 11!
Aaaah, the old busing to improve diversity thing-——amazing what liberals come up with.

What do you think they are seeing at home?
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
Ping to BOTH lists.
This place is called a learning center and most learning centers I know are “special schools” for the emotionally or behaviorally disabled, or problematic.
