Your post #1140 regarding the WTC: at the time the buildings came down, I had many years of heavy industry construction under my belt...a lot of it with structural steel.
That infamous day I ran home for lunch, slammed on the TV and saw the vids of one of the towers collapsing.
Other than the sheer horror of something of this scale happening at all, I was just as shocked at HOW the tower fell. The best way to describe the action was it “accordion-ed” down on itself, the collapse was fast, and the rate of collapsed accelerated. The entire motion was just damned odd. My gut and just being around “stuff” for years screamed something was not square.
I went back to the office dumbfounded., and raced to the room where our resident structural engineer/detailer worked.
“Rob, you need to see that. Iron just does not spooge down on itself in that manner unless it had “help”.”
The following day after he had seen vids, he pretty much agreed with my senses.
what *is* our baseline for freedoms restored? 1959 and all that wholesomeness? 1980 and Reagan restoring our shining city?

Not sure a baseline lies in restoration of the past. I’ve returned to old beloved places 20 years later and the cliche is true: you can’t go home again. You’ve changed since then and so has the place. None of the same people are still there. The cultural landscape has shifted too much. In the end, all we have are our memories and those are sometimes inaccurate.
The trick will be multi-fold, I think. To live in a current, modern milieu as free individuals with rights, autonomy and sovereignty while staying focused and alert as our oppressors seek a restoration of their authority and control. To be extremely sensitive to infringements. To accord them respect as fellow humans, as long as they reciprocate. To never again yield to tyranny. To call out the lie, however uncomfortable that process.
There’s another saying: once poor, never rich. Not sure if this extension is tenable, but perhaps once enslaved, never again really free. Like the Israelites in the desert, longing for the security of Egypt. Freedom is demanding. It takes vigilance, which is work.
How can anyone really return to innocence, once that innocence is lost? And, then again, were we truly innocent or simply duped and how far back does it go? How do we even recover our true history? Not only are the strands tangled, they’ve felted together into a mass we may never be able to undo. The past is actually a shared consensus and right now, each half of the populace maintains a separate and different version of both history and reality that may never be reconciled.
Weighty and difficult things to ponder. Like all journeys, it will have to be one foot in front of the other, a day at a time. It will be easiest for the very young. The rest of us will always carry the imprint of this awakening, the knowledge that we once unknowingly lived a lie.
A "poster" should be fairly easy to track down, at least the source location of the post. In any case gives more clues to authority on sophistication.
The poster says does not want kill . . . yet the first two packages were left on doorsteps, the third near a doorstep. The fourth bomb included a wiretrip.

Thanks for that. I’ve had quite a few people with engineering, construction etc. post the same. So I’m pretty comfortable with thinking it was something other than just the planes.
IIRC, shortly after Silverstein leased the buildings, there was some sort of condemnation or order to replace the asbestos. That guy convinced the court that it was not just one terrorist attack, but two. So he got twice the amount of insurance. He had only put up a small amount of money for the lease (compared to the value).
However, he had insured it for the entire value of the real estate. In addition, he got Federal Dollars. So who benefited, well he and others.

If we are to believe Q, part of the point of his posts is that we need to do the research ourselves. We need to learn, not be spoon-fed.
For those who are content to be spoon-fed, they will never learn the truth. It will just be an emotional decision based on what is easiest to swallow, what beliefs are self-serving for them.
I cannot believe that I know feel certain that 9/11 was indeed a trick of the deep state. We went to war with Iraq based on information that came from our intelligence agencies. We now know that our intelligence agencies are the most corrupt of our government and are basically the hand of the deep state.
