Jimmy Kimmel blamed Netflix for the 90th annual Academy Awards getting the lowest television ratings in the show's history.
Kimmel, who attacks President Donald Trump and conservatives regularly on his ABC late-night show, hosted the Oscars for the second straight year, seeing disappointing ratings both times. The 2018 Oscars appear to have suffered a substantial 19 percent ratings drop compared to the show in 2017.
On his Tuesday, Kimmel blamed the streaming service for the Oscars' problems after Trump criticized the awards on Twitter, which the Daily Wire reported.
"Trump loves saying the ratings are down as if to insinuate that's some sort of show of support for him, but the truth is, every year since Netflix happened, the ratings for every big TV show are downSuper Bowl, Grammys, Emmys, Golden Globes," Kimmel said. "But Trump thinks he caused the ratings to go down."
Prior to hosting his late night show on ABC, Kimmel co-hosted "The Man Show" on Comedy Central, where women called "juggy girls" wore revealing costumes and in which women jumped on trampolines while the credits rolled. At the time, Kimmel declared the show "a joyous celebration of chauvinism," but he has since used his show as a platform for progressive politics.
While Netflix fills its content (and funds) leftist "comedians" who, like Kimmel, are not funny and would blame Netflix for their own demise at the drop of a hat.
These so-called comedians use the same tired out jokes about Trump and conservatives and are never called up by women's groups or media for the repulsive anti-female "humor" they think is humorous. These acts are on video for posterity and are much worse than some of the "me too" reports.
Uh oh! NOW you've got him thinking!
40 years ago, most of the public, had seen most of the nominees. The big box office hits were the ones getting the nominations. So maybe you liked a couple movies, and so you were interested in seeing if they won.
Now, the box office hits rarely get nominated. So the general public has nothing invested in the winner. It would like me watching the Major League Soccer year end awards. I know nothing about the teams, and players, so why should I care who wins.
My tip to the Oscars...make sure Black Panther is up for Best Picture. A popular movie that a lot of people like. People are more likely to tune in to see if it wins.
My guess is that people chose to watch Netflix instead the oscars. So he blames the service instead of admitting hes a worthless piece of garbage.
I didn’t know the Super Bowl was live streamed on Netflix...hmm...
I blame the Kimmel Kurse.

Finally he says something funny!
Cross eyed stupid d*ckhead.
Let's see, preachy SJW kneelers, preachy leftist actors, preachy leftist musicians, more preachy leftist actors. Ratings down. Hmmm, I'm sensing a trend and it has nothing to do with streaming services.
They refuse to look in the mirror ... except to admire themselves.
I would never have watched the Oscars anyway, but Sunday night when they were on I watched 3 straight episodes of Peaky Blinders on Netflix. So Kimmel was correct about my household I guess.
I remember network television.
The problem with his argument is this ...you can watch any Netflix show at your leisure - his show was a one and done .
Kimmy is a moron.
Dear Kimmel,
Trump didn’t make your ratings go down; you made your ratings go down.
Netflix seems to be increasingly bypassing the Hollywood films, instead running their own original productions and films from independent sources.
So what's your point, Jimmy? Do you admit that your business is failing due to high costs, hackneyed scripts and predictable plots? Sounds like the dinosaurs, complaining about all those upstart mammals moving into their neighborhoods.
“These people are just never going to get a clue, are they?”
Oh, they have the clue. Since they cannot supply a viable candidate for the election in 2020 they are going through the same exercise described by Saul Alinsky in his rules for radicals #5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon,” #8:”Keep the pressure on.” and #13: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” And remember, it doesn’t have to be true, it just has to be used enough to stir the public’s presumed dislike for the target.
Welcome to the liberal playbook.

What part of “you’re boring, Jimmy” do you not understand?
Bottom line is that Kimmel and his Ilk have politicized these award shows and ruined them for everyone who had an interest.
