Investigators have determined that an old wooden wreck found on the Alabama Gulf Coast isn't the last slave ship to land in the United States, the Alabama Historical Commission said Monday.

The missing ship set sail for Africa in 1859 and returned to Alabama in 1860 with around 100 slaves. Pictured is the ship's starboard (although it is not the Clotilda's)

Missed it by about only 150 years or so. “So close, but so far away”.
They so wanted this to be some slave ship so they could continue to go on and on and on about their victimhood. Their ancestors were a disgrace for human trafficking their own people.

Can you imagine? There would be a bazillion dollar extraction, transport, ship restoration and museum ASAP, with the Obamas and Oprah at the grand opening. All American school kids would be required to make a pilgrimage to see it.

I am so damn sick of hearing about slavery. Jews were held captive and enslaved for many years. Muslims captured millions of Europeans and took them as slaves. Seems blacks are the only group that cannot just get to work and move past it?

I am somewhat surprised and pleased that they did not declare this wreck to be that particular ship, facts be damned. The historians must have been under intense political pressure. All one would have had to say was that it was possible (re. Sally Hemings), and it would have been trumpeted as a certainty!

These slave traders were Muslim conquerors doing what the Prophet instructed them to do. Today, Islam believes in Muslim Supremacy and Male Supremacy. The upend the Political Correct apple cart and the Left does not even notice.
