Regarding CLAS, could this be a connection? Just posting this without researching CLAS in the Q postings, so I could be all wet. Sure looks like a great vehicle for organizing Soros-funded groups with government help.

I had spotted that but the connection seemed tenuous at best, especially after I spotted the UK CLAS which had positive ties to BOTH CIA and NSA in managing encryption and developing computers for decryption and supervision of surveillance worldwide. That's a much stronger connection.
I will put yours in the Lexicon as a weaker possibility though.
