Police reveal they were called out 39 TIMES to his family home before his mother died last year.
He told authorities that voices in his head told him how to carry out the shooting.
According to his legal team he suffers from autism, depression and has other significant psychological problems.
Police were called to his family's home in Parkland, Fl. 39 times since 2010.
Cruz's adoptive mother died in November from pneumonia and the father died years before of a heart attack.
He also said he had 'trouble with a girl' and he believed the timing of the attack, carried out on Valentine's Day, wasn't a coincidence.
Lynda and her husband, who died of a heart attack several years ago, adopted Cruz and his biological brother, Zachary, after the couple moved from Long Island in New York to Broward County. Cruz was an infant when he was adopted.
It's unclear if he was adopted from the U.S. or aboard. Adopted children from abroad sometimes have issues adjusting due to neglect in their orphanages, especially children from Russia.

So this “author” says something is “unclear” (which means she is making it up out of thin air) then uses THAT as an excuse to go after Russian orphanages in a story about a Florida mass shooting?

He had a job at a Dollar store, and he was living with a friend’s family.
The talk shows and the media are busy blaming guns and politicking the incident shifting the blame when they should be furthering the need for student security.
Particularly since there have been examples occurring of such episodes worldwide.
One who comes to mind is John Howell of am890 WLS Chicago. Which prompted the inspiration for the following observations who got it so wrong left me screaming at my radio .
In this facilities case, their security system should be brought to public discussion particularly because this school has a so called “gun free zone” .Which prohibits security from having guns. Plus examine records reporting how student vs student, and student vs teacher, altercations, vandalism, and thefts, which are bound to occur were being dealt with.
Because in an educational unit this size it’s pretty clear their security system failed . In a secure system Cruz would have never gotten inside.

From personal experience, I know they are real. I'm not sure that just because this animal is claiming he heard voices it means he heard voices, but if he did, then they were demonic voices.

Anyone who has ever had the misfortune of being close to an addict is usually told that their development basically stopped at the time they started using. I would imagine these mood altering and nubing RXs have the same effect. Except, they are not starting them at 15 or 17 years old, they are starting them as small children.
The two issues I see Congress might help with.
1) The FDA needs to really look at the role of prescription drugs in these killings. We take people whose brains are chemically out of whack already and put more chemicals in them on a trial and error basis hoping for a good result.
2) How did this kid, presenting an obvious threat with the black duffle bag, walk right into the school? Security at schools is non-existent. Our suburban Community High School (4,000+) has one off-duty, unarmed officer in the building. He is there to protect the teachers from unruly outbreaks. Once in awhile, he walks the grounds with a drug sniffing dog.
Spiritual warfare is very real.
I read that article too, and yes that would be horrific.
Only Jesus can give us peace, but when society turns their back one will see the results such as this article and yours.

The fact is with the internet and virtually unlimited amounts of personal information at their fingertips - and by personal, I mean not only things like family history, medical history but also even internet use, a persons comings and goings each day, etc. (your phone is tracking every where you go even when off), finding and working on a “patsy” has never been easier for them. Especially in such a lost and sick society. They can probably create these guys all day long.
