The neuroscience aspect of autism is that the thalamus does a priority sort of input stimuli to the brain. With autism there is a suppression of right brain emotional input. (this is why autistic children need time alone to cry and thrash their pillow when they come home from school, then they are much calmer)
I was working with a 73 year old man with severe Asperger’s Syndrome. He would actually turn his head to the left to look at me in order to increase left brain optical input and minimize right brain stimulus.
When I tested his memories to determine when the influencing trauma originally occurred, it was in the third month of pregnancy while in his mother’s womb. It was so strong that he fell over forward every time I touched the memories.
I knew that he felt abandoned as there was no emotional attachment with his mother while he was in her womb. I asked if she had a miscarriage or lost a previous child creating this situation. His reply, “Her father committed suicide while she was pregnant with me.” Bingo, that was the cause.
We removed the emotional trauma attached to the stored memory of this event and immediately he looked at me straight on, without turning his head to the side. (Removed with surgical prayer)(A child in the womb can not differentiate between their mother’s experiences and their own)

Hypnosis can be dangerous as if the autism is a protection mechanism and you open pandora’s box of suppressed emotion with hypnosis, you can cause a psychotic break.
