The Titans and the officiating crew played right into the hands of the Patriots in Saturday nights 35-14 rout of Tennessee in the AFC divisional playoff game at Gillette Stadium.
The 14-3 Patriots, as defending Super Bowl champions, shouldnt need such help. Not that they were turning it away or complaining.
The first questionable call that went against the Titans came in the second quarter on a third-and-4 play from the Tennessee 27-yard line. Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota connected with former Jets receiver Eric Decker on a pass that appeared to give Tennessee a first down to keep the drive alive.

What kind of crack is this moron smoking? The Pats put up 35 points and roundly kicked the crap out of the Titans in every phase of the game. Anybody who thinks the refs had anything to do with it is too stupid to tie their own shoes.
That’s bull.
Goodell is on Brady’s side.
Sour grapes and 🐂💩💩
Houston we have a game.
Currently JAX 28 PIT 21
Every bit as shocking as Hulk Hogans utter dominance. :)
The New England Patriots - America’s Team !
You must be a jets fan.
The film gate think was a joke. The pats camera was literally three feet from the others. The difference was they were “on the field.”
Sure, filming “on the field” is against the rules. But that was just silly from the start.
I understand it’s frustrating to lose all the time. But as a long time Pats fan, we were in the wilderness for decades. And we know in a few years we will be again.
But I get The jealousy.
But the jets? They are just sad.
I know you haven’t been in a cave for the last three years, have you?
Why are all the other football teams so horrible in comparison to the New England Patriots?
Which means - when translated from German - "The NFL, the."
No, have you? Did you actually read my reply?
Ugh, no, not a Jets fan. Thankfully. A fan of football.
The Titans were actually ahead before all this happened.
+1
Well said. Some of the people in their fandom look for things not there. No two calls can change a game. If the titans can score every time they get the ball, and their defense stops the Patriots every time, it’s a route.
I watched the pass interference call a few times in full motion, and Decker slapped the defender more than 10 yards downfield with his left arm as he made his cut. I don’t know if it made the helmet but it did hit the shoulder and pads. Can’t do that. Caught.
The encrochment penalty is defined in the rule book as an infraction in which a football player, on defense, gets into or crosses the neutral zone before the snap, causing an offensive player to false start. I agree with the bad cal on the encroachment. But it may be for the wrong reason. I don’t think the line had gone set as the center was still moving possible calling out blocking schemes. So if there was no contact, and the ball had not been snapped, no call.
But that missed call didn’t make the game dishonest. And I defy anyone to go out there and make every call perfect. I called as high as NCAA, umpire. and it isn’t as easy as it looks. It’s that way because the officials make it look that way.

Oh geez, here we go...
The Patriots walked all over the Titans.
The haters gotta hate.
Waaaa the refs... waaa
There’s the Patriots, then there’s a bunch of red headed step children posing as NFL franchises.
Looks like the Jaguars get a week to trash talk and pretend that the Patriots will be as poorly prepared as the Steelers.
The only question remaining is who will be the Patriots b*&#h in Super Bowl LII.
