What's your favorite old T.V. show theme song?
Use to be some great shows on T.V. back in the day.
Yea after my bath I got to watch it but had to get to bed early for school.....I remember the “shhhhhhhhh quite” too!!!!!
Eerie intro, but the bongos closing clinches it.
Not sure how you define “old,” but the theme song for Hill Street Blues was a classic.
CBS Sports Spectacular used ELO’s “Fire on High” and ELP’s “Fanfare for the Common Man”.

Oh man, so many good theme songs.
Sanford & Son
Miami Vice
The Jeffersons
Dukes of Hazzard
With all the references to Gunsmoke, had to add this recording of Ken Curtis singing. He used to be with the Sons of The Pioneers, which I just learned recently. Go Festus!! Got to admit, I did miss Dennis Weaver when he left!
