Black brings down his bishop but it looks to me like all Black has to do is move his queen next to the white King and it's game over. Black queen is protected by black knight. I must be missing something but it sure looks like checkmate to me. Nope. The next move would be white king takes black knight.

Yeah I see that now but I’d do it anyway and then take whites bishop. I’ll trade a knight for a bishop any day.

Nope.
King to king's bishop 2 taking knight is not a possible move, since it would put the king in check. It's either queen or rook to king's bishop 2 taking knight. The Queen move is the more aggressive of the two, since it threatens black queen.
