Traveling to London
British Airways is a good airline, when I flew there out of DFW, I preferred to take BA over AA, the good news is that I still get AA miles even taking a BA flight.
Yup. A ‘’fanny’’ is what we call a woman’s, well, you know the front end(below the waist) and a ‘’twat’’ is a woman’s rear end. To ‘’knock someone up’’ is to go around to their ‘’flat’’(apartment) and pay them a visit.
LOL! Hey what’s wit youse Limeys? Don’t youse talk American or what?
If your niece is based at one of the air bases in the East of England e.g. Alconbury, Mildenhall etc there are some interesting places to stay and see in East Anglia. The Bull at Long Melford, The Swan at Lavenham ( Lots of Aif Force WW II memorabilia) Le Talbooth at Dedham. The area around Dedham is a very pretty area. It was the area that John Constable the landscape painter painted a lot of his works. Nothing is cheap over there. If you’re doing any traveling outside London and are hiring a car, specify that you want a diesel. Gas is horrendously expensive over there and the diesel cars get far better mileage.
The next year, I flew to Chicago, and met a friend who flew in from Nevada. We flew out Virgin Air to London. We upgraded our seats to their intermediate first-class at our check-in, and were served champagne, etc. We did the same on the way back. The flight itself was great. No problems whatsoever. Haven't really flown anywhere since then, and probably won't. I never enjoyed flying to begin with, and hadn't flown for over 20 years when I took my first overseas trip. Thankfully there were no issues going or coming back home either time.
Have you been overseas before? If not, make sure you bring wash cloths.
P.S. My son has flown to Germany a lot and swears by Lufthansa. It’s the only airline he’ll fly on now.

Twat is actually a synonym for berk and not a word I would throw around lightly....
Every aircraft is a great aircraft if they don't put too many seats across and if they space the rows far enough apart.
ML/NJ
Arabic, or Urdu?
You will find that you can get by with either. Both would be better.
something you may consider is renting a place on VRBO...my husband and son have gone numerous times to London and whenever they go they rent a home or apartment in the vicinity they were going to through that site...always got an incredible price and a wonderful place to stay.

My wife and I have had a good experience with Icelandair.
My wife lived for years in Elmswell, near Bury St. Edmunds. Her son works in Lavenham. She’ll be over there next week. It’s a nice area to live.
Order a Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout and tell them Sam Adams sent you!

It is showing only 5 bases operated by the US Air Force (and listed as RAF). 4 are in East Anglia, which is the least spoiled area in England. Still has picturesque stone & thatched cottages, farmland and historic buildings.
Worth a trip....even though the English drive on the left.
BA is good. Flew United to Heathrow a couple of months back, and found the flight shabby and cheap.
Get a refillable Oystercard for the London underground. You’ll be glad you did.
The first time I traveled to London, I stayed in a hotel that was just down the street from Victoria Station. Back then I believe it was called The Park Lane Hotel. It was the hotel connected with the bus tour I was taking with Trafalgar. I decided to arrive a week before the tour started so I could see the sites in London, and figured I might as well stay in the same hotel that the tour was leaving from. It's now called The Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane. It is only a little over half a mile to Buckingham Palace from there. It was an excellent hotel back then, can't imagine it's gone bad since.
Take British Airways and fly their World Traveler Plus class of service, which costs about 80% more than basic steerage but provides you a seat that’s about equivalent to a domestic first class seat. I’ve done that twice, once in 2008 and again in 2014. Good experience as long as you’re not planning to change planes in London and fly on to another European destination. Heathrow is a HIDEOUS airport to make such a change in.
