Best movie heroine ever?

Posted on 01/06/2018 4:36:09 PM PST by MNDude

it seems that Hollywood is pushing female's to play the heroic scenes more and more--all the new Star Wars movies, Ghostbusters remake come to mind.

But movie heroines go back to 1930's Dorothy from Wizard of Oz. Who is your favorite female movie hero of all time?

Shirley Maclaine in “Terms of Endearment.” No one is going to get away with not giving her daughter pain medication!

I have dim memories of Marie Curie and The King and I. I never saw Debbie Reynolds.

I want to mention Candice Bergen in The Wind and The Lion. That is one of my favorite films of all time. It is an action adventure movie, but instead of the good guys against the bad guys, it is the audacious against the wimps.

Tiffany Case (Jill St John)

First one *I* thought of.

Followed by Audrey Hepburn as Eliza Dolittle ("I'm a good gel, I am!").
