WEIGHT LOSS can be aided by having an apple cider vinegar drink every day, scientists have found. Just how much do you have to drink to lose weight, and how do you take the drink?
Apple cider vinegar benefits include weight loss - but just how much do you need to drink in order to lose weight?
One scientific study carried out in Japan showed that drinking more of the vinegar can help you lose more weight.
The nutrition experts at the Central Research Institute in Aichi asked two groups to drink different amounts of apple cider vinegar once a day, and a third control group drank a drink with no apple cider vinegar.
The scientists found that the apple cider vinegar drinking groups lost weight, had a lower BMI and lost inches around the waist.

Just how much cider vinegar should you drink?
The researchers found that one tablespoon a day or 15 ml saw test subjects lose 2.6 lbs, or 1.2 kgs.
Those who had double that a day lost even more, shedding 3.7 lbs, or 1.7 kgs a day.
How to take apple cider vinegar Those in the trial drank the apple cider in 500 ml of water.

It is perfectly fine to take the vinegar neat if you can stomach the sour taste.
You may also drink apple cider vinegar like a hot toddy.
Dilute the vinegar with warm water and add a healthy sweetener such as honey.
Apple cider vinegar is the liquid from apples, which is them mixed with yeast twice.
After the second stage of fermentation a vinegar is formed.
Cumin can cause weight loss according to research.
One study called Effect of cumin powder on body composition and lipid profile in overweight and obese women found that the spice, often added to curries, helped overweight women lost weight.
Womens body measurements were lower and the women were lighter and had a lower BMI after eating three grams of cumin twice a day for three months, the study found.
I use white vinegar and virgin olive oil for my salads. I can drink vinegar straight up. I like the taste. I will try apple vinegar to see if it helps. Like to lower the blood sugar. I have driven it from 6.5 to 6.2 in 5 months. I try apple vinegar for three months to get it below 6.0.
Here’s the dealeo:
This is a BS remedy masking more serious underlying symptoms.
Let loose the flak. Otherwise, pm me if anyone wants the facts (dont have time right now).
I hear baking soda makes vinegar go down better.
Just saying.
Actually, I was kidding. But I guess it’s a thing.

LOL
Drinking milk-shakes does work..did for me.....I’m at 112 at 5’2 so when I drop weight it’s apparent. Went down to 102 when was contending with stressers so someone mentioned drinking milk-shakes. I had at least one a day and sometimes more. Worked.
“lost even more, shedding 3.7 lbs, or 1.7 kgs a day.”
I call B.S. Almost 4 pounds every day? I think not.
I use a variation of the old “Jogging in a Jug” formula - I mix 2 cups of organic apple cider vinegar with apple juice and grape juice enough to fill a gallon jug, then drink a small cup twice a day. Have lost some weight, nothing dramatic.
Don’t forget an extra large pizza with all the toppings every day!
Yes, that’s too much. A very large person, 400lbs>, might lose a 4 pounds a day on a very caloric restrictive diet...but a person trying to lose 20 or 40 pounds is not going to see that no matter what they are drinking.
Go away! lol
I eat it daily.
Cut up some lettuce—say two cups—into a small salad, mix 2 tbsp. cider vinegar and 1 tbsp. virgin olive oil.
Tasty.
I used to brew a concoction of apple cider vinegar, garlic, honey and ginger: In a blender, blend 10 cloves of garlic, 1 cup raw unheated honey, 1 cup organic apple cider vinegar, half a lemon, a piece of fresh ginger. That’s about a week’s supply . Garlic is a sulfur-rich food and a natural antibiotic. Honey is rich in vitamins, minerals and enzymes.
I used to have a bit @ 10 minutes before each meal and noticed some weight gain after a week or two. Need to get back to this brew.
But to answer your direct question, I don’t know how much effects a quick weight loss.
“V8 and simply add a shot of vinegar per can”
That makes a good salad dressing, especially if adding some olive oil. I don’t do it often because of my teeth; you’re chewing it with the salad. I used to do the ACV “diet” , drinking it through a straw but never noticed any benefits re weight. Gave me terrible GERD.
“You dont know anything”
What a staggering intellect you possess.
Dope.
“Vinegar is highly effective at killing many microbes including gut flora. It may work by interfering with normal digestion. Swallowing an anti-microbial cleaning acid to lose weight probably isnt the brightest idea.”
Pretty solid point, haha.
I wonder what the diet benefits would be of having a couple swigs of 93 octane gasoline each day.
“Vinegar is highly effective at killing many microbes including gut flora.”
Isn’t there a ton of gut flora you absolutely want and need? Would it kill the good as well as the bad?
You don’t know what you’re talking about.
