Autism spectrum disorder has no single known cause. Given the complexity of the disorder, and the fact that symptoms and severity vary, there are probably many causes. Both genetics and environment may play a role.
Genetics. Several different genes appear to be involved in autism spectrum disorder. For some children, autism spectrum disorder can be associated with a genetic disorder, such as Rett syndrome or fragile X syndrome. For other children, genetic changes (mutations) may increase the risk of autism spectrum disorder. Still other genes may affect brain development or the way that brain cells communicate, or they may determine the severity of symptoms. Some genetic mutations seem to be inherited, while others occur spontaneously. Environmental factors. Researchers are currently exploring whether factors such as viral infections, medications or complications during pregnancy, or air pollutants play a role in triggering autism spectrum disorder.

Of course it could be vaccines. Thimerisol is a preservative they dont use any more
If it were vaccines, big pharm, the Mayo Clinic and the CDC would be acting just the way they are acting
Theyll never admit it
Vaccines at least should be spread out. Why give a four hour newborn four vaccines at once?
May the Lord give you strength and peace. I have a disabled child born with spina bifida so I share that kind of pain.
The nail on the head, you hit :)
The vaccine thing has been investigated too many times to count. Autism shows up in many parts of the world where kids have never had a single vaccination.
What is the occurrence of autism in children who are NOT vaccinated? Studies?
Dave, it occurs worldwide in many 3rd world countries where vaccines don’t exist.
but now “autism” has been expanded to include all kinds of other behaviors that are not so extreme.
I think it comes down to, “We don’t really know.” There’s a lot of that in science, especially since it’s awfully hard to prove a negative.
You can’t prove that Freemasons aren’t poisoning the water supply. They could just be too crafty for us to detect them!
I agree with you 100%, it does need to be a national priority. We are seeing the numbers increasing however there has been a change in the criteria for what constitutes/qualifies as Autism so more people now meet the criteria and are being labeled as having Autism. I am a National Board Certified Special Education teacher who has over 17 years experience working with children with Autism and other disabilities. In recent years, more children have qualified as having Autism, but their characteristics are all completely different and this has made creating education plans for each of them challenging. Regarding the belief of a correlation of vaccines and this disorder, I have worked with many parents who say prior to their child receiving a vaccine their child was completely normal. There are too many of them for me to dismiss the possibility of a link. I have read the original study that has been debunked and I have also read other studies too. In my opinion finding a definitive cause or a possible cure for this condition is as elusive as finding a cure for cancer.
I would bet autism is growing in countries with high use of birth control.
Your biggest risk of environmental pollutants by a thousand fold comes through the air you breath particularly if you live in a major urban area. You are entitled to call BS on anything, but that doesn’t make it so. When you took exams you missed a lot of questions by giving incorrect answers, didn’t you?
It’s the vaccines that everyone is certain is not the problem specifically MMR. My son was given MMR and within days we lost our bright happy child. By a miracle after fiv years of physical therapy and speech therapy we got our son back. We are a member racleccase as most parents don’t fare so well. Look no further than the vaccines. They wanted to give my one day old daughter Hep V- we asked them if our daughter looked left is a hooker than asked them to leave our room.
What? Do you think those "clear clinical indicators" just popped up in whole?
No!
They took YEARS to develop, and frankly, your chart proves it.
In 1975 they called them retarded. Very few, including doctors, referred to any of this as autism.
Medical science has made significant advances since those time, and one of the major contributors have been better clinical indicators and practices.
Is feminism which replicates masculinity causing autism?
MY research has shown that autism is a super masculine consciousness. This is the reason that many more boys have it than girls. This is due to the greater shift required for females than males.
While there are many influencing factors, my research showed that a lack of emotional bonding with the mother during the third month of pregnancy, during neural tube development in the fetus, is found in every case.
The priority sort for neural input in the brain is in the thalamus. I’ve found that the thalamus blocks emotional input to the right hemisphere.
Most of my research has involved Aspergers Syndrome spectrum of autism. These people will actually turn their head to the left to look at you in order to maximize optic nerve input to the left brain while minimizing right brain stimulus.
Last year I was working with a 73 year old man with autism. His abandonment issues with mother were so great that he would fall off his feet forward when I stimulated the memories when he was in his mother’s womb at three months fetal development.
MY first question was if his mother had a child die or a miscarriage prior to being pregnant with him. She was not available for him emotionally. He replied that his mother’s father committed suicide while she was pregnant with him. Bingo.
We removed the emotional memory from his soul and he immediately looked straight on at me.
“... their child was completely normal”.
Was it the 18 month MMR? I have read that as well.... I agree that this condition is as elusive as finding a cure for cancer.
You should be commended for having the strong will necessary to overcome this barrier. Having that kind of will puts you in a special category with many other successful people.
Correction, the 73 year old had Aspergers Syndrome.
