The following recounts an incident in 2004 that advocates of research into U.F.O.s have said is the kind of event worthy of more investigation, and that was studied by a Pentagon program that investigated U.F.O.s. Experts caution that earthly explanations often exist for such incidents, and that not knowing the explanation does not mean that the event has interstellar origins.
Cmdr. David Fravor and Lt. Cmdr. Jim Slaight were on a routine training mission 100 miles out into the Pacific when the radio in each of their F/A-18F Super Hornets crackled: An operations officer aboard the U.S.S. Princeton, a Navy cruiser, wanted to know if they were carrying weapons.

KFI radio just talked about the story. Sweet. Two Hornet Navy pilots were surprised and confused about their neighbors in the California sky in 2004.
That fits classic abduction stories. Such a thing has never happened to me and I would not dismiss any such story out of hand. Really strange stuff goes on in this world.
Bfl
I saw something in the Kansas summer night sky while still-fishing for catfish.
Pointed it out to my fishing buddy (no beer or anything like that with us that night) and agreed it wasn’t an airplane. It was too fast.
It didn’t really accelerate or slow down either, it just covered great distances in seconds. It was one of the few times in my life my chin was on my chest.
I have heard of these tactics a number of times. Sorry you had to go through that. Perhaps some day you will be able to open up on the subject again. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
When I get old enough not to care anymore, I’m going to write a book. Lots of stories from the space program I grew up with and was part of. and I WILL add in the interesting stuff. Some day, but not yet. Could be that only my son will get to read it. Happy Holidays to you as well.
They can get down the highway, cant they?
“How did this “thing” happen to know ahead of time where they had been vectored to??”
Either monitoring the frequencies or mental telepathy I would imagine.
I’m up in the air (so to speak) on UFO’s. Just like I am with Bigfoot.
Was it former freeper Quix I think that made good arguments that UFO’s are demonic spiritual things. I can see that. The problem I have with them being ET’s from another planet - they would have to travel so far. Although I suppose with worm-holes, etc. if they had them figured out. But still.
Funny - I have an easier time thinking they are from Satan than that they have figured out space/time travel!
My wife got me that “I want to believe” poster from the X-Files for my birthday - I still need to put it up on my workshop door.
“They would suddenly appear when traffic got heavy, and I’d put my left hand on the steering wheel.”
Yep, you done explained most, if not all, unexplained UFO cases. /sarc I mean the ones where swamp gas and Venus don’t cover it.
And wanted to go that fast
That was their primary, primal reaction. How can we go that fast?
Guys dont just say uh i wanna be a fighter pilot. Well they do. But first they dream about it when theyre little and they speed everywhere and in all things physical. Most often theyre pyromaniacs
Of course their reaction is, how do we accomplish that kind of speed?
They are kindred spirits with the ufo drivers who are the fighter pilots of their alien world, leaving a mate at home to do journalism, economics or medicine, and hemp them raise a family
“The next thing i remember was waking up in my dorm room.”
I hate to tell ya but someone may have slipped you a date rape drug.
Interesting that Ralph Blumenthal is one of the NY Times writers on this story. I stopped reading most of his crap after comparing his visit to a So. Vietnamese village in the Mekong Delta (Nov. 1970) and his negative writing about the state of affairs there (the SVN govt/ARVN seized it from the Communists a year ago.
Three other journalists and myself saw and wrote that the situation in this hamlet/village was demonstratively better for the people since the So. Vietnamese govt came back and drove the VC out.
Blumenthal interviewed the blacksmith husband of the woman I interviewed (she had a small Soda/snack business in the front of their little house) and when I asked her how “had the conditions changed since the SVN govt/troops came in”, she said that her children went to school, that the Govt had built a maternity clinic nearby so that they wouldn’t have to take a woman in labor 20 miles down the river to the nearest hospital/medical center, and that the Govt didn’t tax her pig like the VC did (400 piasters, about one dollar American at that time).
I believe the other writers who wrote positively of this same village at about the same time as I visited it, included Henry Bradsher, Washington Star, possibly Don Kirk, Chicago Tribune, (both of whom I lunched with in Saigon and Cambodia), and maybe a writer from the Wash. Post or Baltimore Sun.
UFOs is a great beat for Blumenthal. He’s been a weird leftist since the 70’s. Wonder which one of the 57 states of Obama’s America he came from - Uranus perhaps.
This has always been my theory.
It was ball lightning.

I miss Quix. I enjoyed his viewpoints.
“I once asked a spook in his cups if UFOs are real. He said yes, and theyre ours.”

Zero Point Propulsion. Instead of moving through space time as all existing vehicles and ourselves do, they capture a bit of the local space time and skim on the surface - negating any need for canceling gravity or carrying large amounts of fuel - the faster they go the faster they can go, no upper limit (even light speed). They do not violate relativity or any other principle.
There are very detailed explanations of the physics (first worked out by James Clerk Maxwell in the 19th Century), the mechanics, and very detailed drawings available online. They are ours and have been for a very long time.
The more people try to poke holes without any investigation, the more people poo-poo the idea, the more people unleash personal criticism at those who talk or write about this stuff, the more people cry aliens, the more people are dismissive, the easier it is to keep the whole of it secret and separate from the public.
Did you see the multi-craft fly-over in 1957 in Farmington?
