The following recounts an incident in 2004 that advocates of research into U.F.O.s have said is the kind of event worthy of more investigation, and that was studied by a Pentagon program that investigated U.F.O.s. Experts caution that earthly explanations often exist for such incidents, and that not knowing the explanation does not mean that the event has interstellar origins.
Cmdr. David Fravor and Lt. Cmdr. Jim Slaight were on a routine training mission 100 miles out into the Pacific when the radio in each of their F/A-18F Super Hornets crackled: An operations officer aboard the U.S.S. Princeton, a Navy cruiser, wanted to know if they were carrying weapons.

You been checked for an implant?
My two cousins saw something in a field at our family farm in western NY back in the ‘60s or ‘70s. Scared the crap out of them. One has passed on, and the other won’t talk about it.
Mom still lives there so when I go to visit I keep an eye out. :)
The crystal on my Rado watch is designed so this happens in some sunlight. (Beveled?) My cats like to play with the flashes on the wall.
Aside from meteoritics, I stand by my statement.
Why the submissive attitude? For all we know, they could be underprivileged galactic farm laborers seeking new lettuce crops to harvest...........
Wow....did a bit of reading related to your post. I simply am not smart enough to grasp it, but this quote was very interesting:
‘From 1971 to 1974 Henry William Wallace, a scientist at GE Aerospace was issued with three patents.[248][249][250] Wallace used Dewitt’s theory to develop an experimental apparatus for generating and detecting a secondary gravitational field, which he named the kinemassic field....a New Scientist article in 1980 stated “Although the Wallace patents were initially ignored as cranky, observers believe that his invention is now under serious but secret investigation by the military authorities in the USA. The military may now regret that the patents have already been granted and so are available for anyone to read.”....
HERE is the creepy part:
‘A further reference to Wallace’s patents occur in an electric propulsion study study prepared for the Astronautics Laboratory at Edwards Air Force Base which states: “The patents are written in a very believable style which include part numbers, sources for some components, and diagrams of data. Attempts were made to contact Wallace using patent addresses and other sources but he was not located nor is there a trace of what became of his work’
So.....the guy and his work were ‘disappeared’??
Meteor?
Spiders on the flyback transformer.
You simply have to vacuum the dust and bugs out every now and then.
The article does not make clear what they were seeing with.
Multiple people "seeing" the thing with naked eyes is very different from seeing the thing on a display.
We are either far more advanced in our space technology or there are non-human craft interacting with us. From where, who knows, I suspect we do already if its not our own craft.
My brother witnessed a UFO, my great uncle a cop in the 60s saw a classic saucer hovering over a corner of the Wright-Pat base with his partner at 2:00am. Neither reported anything.
It can explain some sightings, but simply doesn’t explain many others recorded by credible observers and analyzed by scientifically knowledgeable people.
Hynek suggested it once as a possible explanation for *some* perceived ‘ufos’; but the press ran with that and it became a ridiculous ‘meme’ to people who had seriously studied the data from many sightings.
(Another misconception is that Kenneth Arnold saw ‘saucer-shaped’ objects near Mt. Rainier. He never said that. He saw somewhat ‘wedge’-shaped objects, apparently curved on one edge, that MOVED as a saucer might, if skipped over water. But, the notion of ‘flying saucers’ became embedded in the ‘lore’.)
I saw one from a backyard in Green Valley about 15 years ago to the Southeast. Lot of noisy jet activity that night coming from the North. It was a group of different colored lights rotating around each other in an odd pattern. Was filled in on direction by a resident. I was only a visitor.
Did you see the multi-craft fly-over in 1957 in Farmington?
><
No, I was in Abiquiu at that time and only 6 years old.
Did you see it?
I also enjoyed what Quix had to say.
Me, too.
I suspect we are.....They certainly were able to keep the A-12 secret
Thanks for posting that, it’s very interesting and neat.
Good American ingenuity, to say the least.
The next time you’re stuck in traffic behind a semi towing what looks like a house trailer with a “Wide Load” sign on the back, think of the A-12......LOL!
That’s right.
Are you familiar with the underground facilities near Dulce, NM?
No, I don't think I've ever heard of them before....
As a side note, Detroit sits on top of a giant salt mine....
