The first that comes to mind for me: "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial". Sappy and overly sentimental.
(And while I'm at it, "Titanic")
Sound meets G-Father Part IV
That kinda started the whole shaky camera "documentary" style genre which makes me want to hurl.
Yes, yes, yes........
Chariots of Fire
Room with a View
The English Patient
Titanic
Independence Day - dumbest movie ever
Hudson Hawk. How can you not like Bruce Willis & Danny Aiello?
Hollywood; Where everything old becomes new again!
“Well there was that scene with Kate’s boobies.”
Only a special kind of gal can pose naked & tease the artist in a mock-deep voice, “You look so serious!” Kate Winslet was 22 then. She was a beauty.
One reviewer panned “Titanic” thus: Americans were heroes, Irish were victims, and the English were villains.
Brian’s Song
Love Story.
Hate them both and all who acted in them yet I have seen both at least 10 times each.
How so you may ask.
Because I was forced (FORCED) to watch each movie, on multiple occasions starting in Junior High and then High School. For what reason I was never told.
My personal impression was the hope my balls would rot and fall off.
Perspective in life is all important!
(Although there is some really good old engineering stuff on YouTube - lots of BBC documentary.)
Star Wars.
All of ‘em.
I only saw enough of Titanic to motivate me to avoid any further Leonardo DiCaprio movies.
I’ve heard that, in the end, the ship sank, right?
Amadeus is such crap.
Rocky Horror Picture Show
The Wizard of Oz and more recently Dunkirk.
Never liked Pulp Fiction. Never liked any & all Star Wars films. Never liked most of the newer James Bond flicks....though the Sean Connery ones are watchable. Can’t stand most of these Iron Man & Superman & Batman movies...total nonsense.
We have a BINGO!
When I have to repeatedly ask what the hell is going on, I'm not enjoying the movie.
Just curious, are you a man or a woman?
.
Broke Back Mountain.
Didn’t see it but am sure as hell that I don’t like it.
