The sound which the planet produces is a low, steady, unceasing hum. Scientists have been attempting to record and explain the odd noise as far back as the late 1950s, with little concrete data to suggest its source. Now, new research published in Geophysical Research Letters is attempting to explain why it happens, and scientists think it might have something to do with the ocean.
...
This newest study is the first to actually record the sound from deep beneath the oceans waves. By recording ambient sound within the ocean and then using robust noise cancelling techniques to strip away the sound of the ocean itself, scientists were left with only the sound. They were able to confirm that the noise is completely continuous and, over nearly a year of observation, did not vary significantly.
But what actually causes it? Well, the jury on that is still out, but various theories have been proposed. One of the more plausible explanations is that the Earths hum is actually acoustic resonance. Acoustic resonance, which is the process by which objects of similar natural frequency will vibrate in sync with each other even if theyre not directly touching, could cause the Earth to produce a continuous vibration, some scientists believe, but others arent so sure.

The planet is crying from climate change.
Well, probably the saddest and most terrifying place in the whole universe is in the center of the earth - a tortuous prison called Hell or Hades. Its where those who have not received Jesus Christ go after death. Not sure what the noise is, however.
“The planet is crying from climate change.”
LOL. That’s got to be it. Good one.
It’s moaning at all of the stupidity up here.
The Sun and the Moon are having a bad joke contest.
You would make weird noises too if you could listen in.
The Bible also says all creation (including the earth) groans for redemption (Romans 8:21-23).
Joy Behar farted!
lightning crashes, a new mother cries
her placenta falls to the floor
the angel opens her eyes
the confusion sets in
before the doctor can even close the door
lightning crashes, an old mother dies
her intentions fall to the floor
the angel closes her eyes
the confusion that was hers
belongs now to the baby down the hall
oh now feel it comin’ back again
like a rollin’ thunder chasing the wind
forces pullin’ from the center of the earth again
I can feel it.

Does it only happen after taco night?
And the Wind Cries Mary.
Not like a wild boar
Or a jungle lion’s roar
It isn’t like the cry of any bird.
Maybe those tectonic plates crashing into each other?
Magnetic resonance.
“scientists think it might have something to do with the ocean.”
Maybe if they would hold a shell up to their ear they could hear it better to identify it.

The earth has tinnitus.
