Porn star August Ames was found dead of an apparent suicide Wednesday, one day after the adult actress was apparently bullied by social justice warriors on social media for explaining she would not perform in scenes alongside male actors who also perform in gay porn, due to health concerns.
Ames, whose real name is Mercedes Grabowski, “died of asphyxia due to hanging” in what has been ruled as a suicide, according to Ventura County, California officials. She was 23 years old.
Grabowski was bullied on Twitter after she announced her refusal to do porn scenes with gay porn actors, citing what she claimed was a higher likelihood of contracting HIV.
Users quickly called Grabowski, who was bisexual, “homophobic” for her remarks, prompting the actress to further explain.
“NOT homophobic. Most girls don’t shoot with guys who have shot gay porn, for safety,” Grabowski proclaimed. “That’s just how it is with me. I’m not putting my body at risk, i don’t know what they do in their private lives.”

Sad. Both the life she had, and now the life that she never will. Not that it really matters, but I’ve got to wonder what kind of an upbringing she had...first to go into porn, and then to kill one’s self over a few words on a computer screen.

While it is hard to support her choice of profession, morally, her position regarding who she would and would not perform with was not “homophobic” but merely sane. She had plenty of statistics to back up her position.
The best position for anyone using Twitter, I think, is to say something if you want, but ignore any responses to what you Tweet. Twitter is not a place for dialogue, it’s only real function is venting. So go ahead and vent and then leave it alone. Your supporters won’t care and your opponents shouldn’t matter to you.

What you have posited is totally believable. I remember my parents, in the 1970s, telling my brother and me to just shut up about what we heard at home about ... various topics relating to the U.S. Navy, or other adult issues. Kids don’t understand why you shouldn’t repeat what you hear.
In real life, the possible audience was very limited, but on Facebook ... everyone.
A housewife in my neighborhood did just that, decades ago.

I checked out probably 150 photos to post this one.
To me this seemed a normal photo of a woman that was often photographed with much less on and in compromising positions.
To be honest, I thought this flattered her.
She has a nice simile, beautiful hair, nice skin tones, and a decent figure accented by the black dress.
It doesn’t bother me that you thought it was harsh. Not everyone is going to like the same photos.

I understand it’s rare but the post that I was addressing said that it didn’t happen——it does.
It’s an old farm comment referencing horses that haven’t been well tended after a workout.
It’s not necessarily meant as a put-down. Some people have a tough life and look pretty raged even in their mid teens.
If anything, it makes me realize how lucky some of us have been, not having had a street tough life by our mid teens.
Perhaps they met “on set” or he was some kinky dude that encouraged her.
