Porn star August Ames was found dead of an apparent suicide Wednesday, one day after the adult actress was apparently bullied by social justice warriors on social media for explaining she would not perform in scenes alongside male actors who also perform in gay porn, due to health concerns.
Ames, whose real name is Mercedes Grabowski, “died of asphyxia due to hanging” in what has been ruled as a suicide, according to Ventura County, California officials. She was 23 years old.
Grabowski was bullied on Twitter after she announced her refusal to do porn scenes with gay porn actors, citing what she claimed was a higher likelihood of contracting HIV.
Users quickly called Grabowski, who was bisexual, “homophobic” for her remarks, prompting the actress to further explain.
“NOT homophobic. Most girls don’t shoot with guys who have shot gay porn, for safety,” Grabowski proclaimed. “That’s just how it is with me. I’m not putting my body at risk, i don’t know what they do in their private lives.”

We both know that isn't true. However, what I said did PROVOKE others to provide counter information. Which is a good thing.

So true. Indeed, I suspect there are many bosses pout there who make it a practice to view their employees’ and employees’ kids’ social media just to see what’s going and what they’re thinking. Also, if somebody has an antagonistic relationship with a fellow worker, a bit of social media viewing might be in order.
The more we correspond about this, the stronger my negative views of Facebook and Twitter become.
One was an Hispanic woman (probably illegal) who was married with kids. The others, I’m not quite sure.
But I agree, hanging isn’t the method of choice for most women. They go with overdosing.
These aren’t stupid people. They are asking themselves, “How can we keep those eyeballs glued to the screens so they see the ads and we make money?” “How can we get more people hooked and eat more of their lives so we make more money?”
I read an article in the last day or two which mentioned “free” services such as Facebook. The author wrote, “If you’re not paying for it, then YOU are the product.”

Eileen Wournos was a sick, twisted, mass murderer. As far as I know, Ames never murdered anyone.
I hate the porn industry, but comparing this woman to a mass murderer is over the top.
Many porn actors do come from abusive backgrounds. That’s not an excuse for their choice of lifestyle but it is a fact.

Women get aroused by money, so do some men. There’s a phrase for male prostitutes who are otherwise heterosexual: “gay for pay.”
“Porn Star”. Sounds so legitimate. The poor girl was a prostitute of the worst kind. The bible is actually pretty kind to prostitutes but this whole situation is beyond sad.
Hollywood has tried to blackball (regular) male actors for refusing to do gay kissing as well.
