Has anybody else been having trouble loading YouTube videos on their computers recently? Many times now when I click to a YouTube video it just doesn't load. Often I have to close my windows and then start them up again to watch the videos. We shouldn't have to do that.
Please tell me I am not alone in this observation. If others are having this problem, it is a glitch that YouTube engineers need to be working on.
Yes.
Same here, for about a month. It’s impossible to just surf anymore, and even the helpful 50-song playlists that people have made stop after 2 or 3 songs. I think they are trying to herd everyone to have to sign in, the better to track you.
Does anyone have any definitive info on this?

Yep. It’s the only site that give me trouble loading or streaming. Ever.
Yes, I did notice the problem.
When I complained and the youtube people told me it was the new way that Microsoft serves up content and the fact that audio and video are streamed separately and combined on the fly upon receipt.
how much more improved tech bs can we take...never mind, we’ll find out...maybe....
Not sure of your operating system PJ but my VPN’s and new MacOS High Sierra upgrade were doing the same until I updated the VPN’s ...... all good now.
If recycling your browser fixes it, how can it be the server’s problem? I operate three browsers -— Mozilla’s SeaMonkey, Google Chrome, and MS Edge. When I have a youtube problem, switching browsers usually fixes it.
