Has anybody else been having trouble loading YouTube videos on their computers recently? Many times now when I click to a YouTube video it just doesn't load. Often I have to close my windows and then start them up again to watch the videos. We shouldn't have to do that.
Please tell me I am not alone in this observation. If others are having this problem, it is a glitch that YouTube engineers need to be working on.
Are you logged in? j/k
Seriesly are you running a VPN?
and youtube is testing a new look
What browser?
Google Chrome.
yes...the screen just stayed black
Really? Perhaps they should ALSO work on how the videos load because now it is LOUSY.
So you’re having the same problem?
just did a search ,”google chrome slow playing youtube” and WOW ,LOL
last I tried....why don’t you post a youtube link, and we can all try it on our various browsers...
you can pick a Dark theme and it’s easy on the eyes
ALL the videos are having trouble loading on YouTube so I don’t have to post a link.
I have a small child. So I am used to the stickiness of YouTube. Lol.
On devices you just close the app and reopen. Or turn on and off WiFi. Works every time.
ok..i’ll go look for one...sheesh
You should be thankful..................
Part of the plan.
"and youtube is testing a new look"
Every time a website introduces a 'new look' , the functionality goes to hell. Especially on 'smart phones'. The real point in releasing these interface changes is to FORCE YOU to CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK and spend hours on their website figuring out how the 'new look' works. They actually make things more difficult instead of easier.
It's all about the MONEY.
Tried a couple different ones....Everything is now working fine
So if any of you have the same problem, just go into your Google Chrome extensions and disable them one by one until you find the one that enables you to watch videos smoothly when you disable it.
Ive been experiencing very infrequent YouTube speed problems with Are you experiencing download problems? prompt for years. And since I have upgraded ISP and still get them, I suspect that problems are a YouTube marketing ploy for paid services.
