Here’s an analogy: One person equals one horsepower. You can do some weed-whacking or leaf-blowing but that’s about it. But when you line up 40 more horses (the minimum number of anti-Trump Republicans in the Senate) - you can motor down the road on two wheels or four, and even pull a skier at a pretty good clip behind your boat. NR and the rest of the NeverTrump media just add to the power.
But 40 or 50 or 100 horses don’t know what needs to be moved, so unless they are harnessed together and led properly nothing gets done. Who is leading the anti-Trump movement? I’m pretty sure this is the question Steve Bannon asks himself every day, because we all know if you cut off the head, the critter dies.
Trump had to face and defeat the combined power of NeverTrump Republicans, the entire Democrat Party and the sycophant media. Now Judge Moore has to face and defeat pretty much the same power. He’s no Trump, but maybe he can do it. It’s an awful lot of power for one man to take on.
