Sony Entertainment has canceled the American Film Institute premiere of the film All the Money in the World amid a litany of sexual abuse allegations against actor Kevin Spacey.
All the Money in the World is a superb film and more than worthy of its place of honor in the AFI Fest, TriStar Pictures, the film division of Sony Entertainment, said in a statement, Deadline reports. But given the current allegations surrounding one of its actors and out of respect for those impacted, it would be inappropriate to celebrate at a gala at this difficult time. Accordingly, the film will be withdrawn.
The cancellation comes amidst multiple allegations against Spacey, which include accusations of rape, pedophilia, groping, and repeated sexual harassment.
Since the allegations have emerged, Netflix has cut ties with Spacey on his award-winning show House of Cards, while he has also been dropped by his longtime talent agency CAA as well as his publicist Staci Wolf.

Sony Cancels Festival Premiere of All the Money in the World Amid Kevin Spacey Sex Misconduct Scandal
Spacey is so blatant. He can’t keep his hands to himself. He openly attempts to seduce men, and boys. I’d say such brazen habits had to have been well known by his colleagues yet nobody said anything until now!?
I call BS on Netflix, Sony, his agent, and his publicist. They kept quiet, made the BIG BUCKS, and would have continued had he not been outed. It’s all show, and they participated by remaining silent about it all as long as they were making the BIG $$$.
This actually looks like a really good movie. It is about the Kidnapping of John Paul Getty’s Grandson back in the seventies. It has Kevin Spacey as Getty. He is almost unrecognizable the makeup is so good.
Looks like pictures of a mentor and student.
I seen you naked, man.
Yeah, and I seen you naked.
I saw a preview for an expensive looking Spacy film about a month ago. J. Paul Getty’s grandson gets kidnapped. Spacy was heavily made up but plays Getty.
Not sure what they’ll do with that film now.
Perhaps they’ll stay away from politics if we start arresting all the Hollywood libs. Or Congressional hearings. Get them to name names like the good old days.
This movie will also tank at the box office.
I grew up near some Getty oil fields. I remember news about the kidnappers. I heard that Getty had them hunted down and killed. I've not been able to find anything about that. In any case the story does interest me so I'll probably see it.
Spacey was replaced by Plummer.
I will go see it now that Spacey got the boot.
